Remarks
Well, not much good to say, to reiterate the staff was always behind money. The faculty were doing their best to teach us but the quality was never upto the mark. College management was only about money it made us highly demotivated and disinterested in studying there.
Entrance Preview
I had appeared for the MHTCET. Opted for SIMCA (Biggest mistake of my educational history) becuase the group had a good reputation and this campus was listed as one of the best. Admission was all about money,the entire institute and the Sinhgad group brand purely focuses on making money.
Course Curriculum Overview
Average. Chose finance as a specialization was given names of textbooks and basic curriculum. No structured course matter,no flow of routine or pattern. Most of us were confused till the end how the course was taking place and how the institute managed to earn any reputation at all.
Internships Opportunities
Rubbish attempts for organizing work ex and internship experiences. Hardly any companies were called. Stipend is not relevant for a good job role experience. Maybe 10 SME's would have come. Nothing exciting,nothing to give a student an opportunity.
Placement Experience
Below average. The only good company that came was ICICI bank that too hiring finance candidates for Bancassurance and Credit Card sales. of a 450 students maybe 255 placed. Best package highest offered was INR 640000 per annum.
College Events
Nothing exciting one fest which was more about people dressing up than activities. Empyrean entrepreneurship club was a good experience and had some good SME and Business owners come down and give us good tips.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Ridiculous for the quality of education provided. Not worth the money spent at all. Lab fees library fees. Everything was exorbitant. Labs and other facilities all under equipped for number of students in the Institute. They were like hounds all about money.
Campus Life
Campus life was good. Quiet crowded. Various courses of education so students from all over the place. Decent balance of male and female students. Students from different strata of the society were present from farming families to govt staff children and business owners children.
Hostel Facilities
Unable to comment since I my self arranged an accommodation separate from the colleges hostel. Canteen was ok.
Alumni/Alumna
Hardly any interaction most of the alumni we met were not interested in returning to the institute unless any work was there. All had the unhappy at the end at their decision of joining this institute.
Exam Structure
Ok,chilled out. Not too much of a hectic schedule. Had a few exams as semesters and few assignments. Not too stressful.
