Your Skills Are Important

I completed diploma with 83.6% and I have given Haryana LEET exam. Beacuse of Covid-19 situation haryana govt did'nt took examination so all the process of ranks was based on merit of diploma. LEET exam is to given by diploma students so that they can be admitted directly to the 2nd year of btech. The application form and all the information about the exam is provided every year on the website of haryana board (anyone can easily visit the website). Since I belong to Uttar Pradesh (out of state) I did'nt got any reservation benefits in the University and also because of out of state problem I faced many rejections in getting selected in any university because out of state students have very minimum seats in any state , then I got selected in the spot counselling round so I need to wait alot.

I took admission in Btech (Information Technology) as I am interested in computer science world . It is such a thrill to do coding and all. The faculty of the university is very good. They are hard working and in online classes also they always try their best in giving us the best knowledge. They understand us deeeply and treat us like friends. The faculty is also very Qualified ( M.tech or PhD ). University take semester exams timely and also take 2 minor test before the final exams for the sessional and also for students preparation for final major exams.

For Interships one has to make strong resume with impressive projects, Also with projects CGPA is also very important for selection in interships or jobs. Some Companies give stipend while some do not. It also depends on our computer skills and specifically coding.

Placements of GJU University is average. from 5th semester students get eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Infosys, Byjus, TCS etc. visits my university. Almost students gets placed in the companies with good package as trainee engineer , software engineer etc.

The yearly fees of Btech course is rs 61050. There are scholarships which students get offered through the university through which maximum fees is returned to the student. there is one scholarship in which the govt selects some students to give scholarship , this scholarship selection is listed on the basis of student's need.

There are many clubs in the university whose coordinators are the students of different classes. Even my class has 10 coordinators of different-different clubs and programmes. There is one program which is on coding known as monthly projectathon. Here many groups take part and make many projects through coding and then the judges announce 3 toppers. One club is for government job preparation. Every week current affairs and magazines are shared in every class group by coordinator. Also every week GD (Group Discussion) round is organised by the speakathon club for the pre-interview preparation of students. This university's auditiorium is the largest auditorium in haryana. It's library has such a best infrastructure and it is also so big.

Hostel infrastructure is not so bad and not so good. My hostel's rooms have 2 single beds, 1 chair and 1 table and 2 almirahs and some extra vacant space to keep our extra things there. The hostels are alloted to the students in the university itself. Hostel fees is 6250 yearly(affordable). The meal quality is average and also i think they are health conscious(give so many green vegetables).
