Remarks
The Indian Institute of Management is a well-equipped institution. IMT offers international immersion with global partners, 100% placement assistance, and an NBA certification certificate, to name a few advantages. I was given a spot in the general category. The requirements for admission are simple, and they are based on passing the entrance exam and interview. The PGDM program at IMT offers a wide range of expertise.
Course Curriculum Overview
So far, the course curriculum has been both good and bad for me. The majority of the time, PPTs and guest lectures are used to teach us. The amount of time that I spend reading books is quite limited. There are five distinct specialties available in this program. The ideas of learning pedagogy are followed by IMT professors. We will be given assignments as the course continues. We were also expected to give a presentation on the topics covered in class.
Internships Opportunities
The campus is home to a huge number of businesses, estimated to number in the hundreds. There is a range of work opportunities available at big brands, as well as a few small firms and startups. The possibilities are endless, and the stipends and CTC are extremely generous. Academic advisers are also available to help students during their summer internships.
Placement Experience
In the first year, two-month summer placements are offered, and you may also receive a pre-placement offer from a select few firms. Final placements begin in term 4 of the second year. The procedure is straightforward, and many brands visit the campus for a tour. The highest CTC for the 2022 batch was over 62 lakhs, with an average of roughly 15 lakhs. 517 pupils were placed in just 17 days.
Fees and Financial Aid
Attending IMT is expensive. Because I came from a middle-class household, I applied for a scholarship. There are several scholarships and financial aid possibilities available to students like myself. More information is available on the IMT's official website. Campus Life
At IMT, student life is amazing. The campus is well-equipped with all of the necessary amenities, including a gym, a mess, a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, a recreation amphitheater, a library, a Bloomberg terminal, Nescafe, double and single sharing rooms, and even a separate hostel building for female students. The classrooms are well-equipped with a variety of features.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a round of interviews as well as a group discussion. During the interview phase, there was some grilling on general awareness, subject knowledge, previous degree knowledge, and current affairs-related themes.
