Remarks

To get admission into BCA at IMS you should at least have 50% marks in your 10th and 12th exams, you can fill up the form from college website or you can visit the college and collect it from there. After that you will have an interview round and if you clear that you will be enrolled here. You can also avail scholarships from college on the basis of your 12th marks. Overall the admission is fairly simple and easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BCA as I'm good at computers and wanted to grow in this field. Faculty at IMS are highly Knowledgeable and their quality of teaching is very good and easy to understand. Exams happen per semester and are fairly easy to pass if you paid attention in your class.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College offers various Scholarships to Students on various factors, and if you are eligible for any of the scholarships you will surely get one. BCA fees 130000 and their is no hike policy as such. Financial Assistance is also provided by college.

Campus Life

Events and Fest happen around the year at IMS major one being the MArkfest, HAckathon, Genesis etc. Library is also rich in books, journals and magazines. Classrooms are also well furnished with all the requirements. All sports facilities are also available in the campus. Other than that there are also 25+ student driven clubs at IMS each unique in their working and style.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

To tell you the truth, I did not know about the college, I had applied after seeing the package and had seen the reviews, but this college is not so bad, something is better than nothing.
