Entrance Preview
I had Given "Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University" Entrance exam. Had scored around 2900 Rank at that Time. Admission Process at that time:After the exam GGSIPU conducts a counselling seminar where we had to go and ranks were called out. When we meet the counsellors they would show us the seats available at the colleges at that time, and we had to choose the college accordingly.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum was very detailed. Each semester had different learnings and we were taught with all in depth details. After doing my BBA, I Did MBA and felt that i already new most of the things from BBA that are taught at MBA. The best part of GGSIPU was that the exams were not held at the college but on some other college. Just like boards exams. And papers are checked by random teachers of any GGSIPU affiliated college.
Internships Opportunities
My college internship was nice as per what my friends told me. They said stipend was approx Rs, 2,000. I did not do my internship from college link. I had got internship on my own.
Placement Experience
I do not remember the companies name that came as i did not take job at that time. I had a business idea to start with. But many students got placement at good companies. but i do not remember the names of the companies. Package was between Rs. 2.5 Lacs/annum to Rs. 8 lacs/annum.
College Events
The cultural program of college was not that big during 2006. We had good culture program with Guru gobind Singh Indraprastha University. There were various inter college meets and competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The time I had joined the fee structure was feasible. I do not remember the exact number now. But it was around 50-60k per annum. I do remember looking for other colleges but they were relatively very expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I had not availed any loan facility of Scholarship. Nor i am aware of any person who might have availed these facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network is good. We have annual Alumni meet and there have good interactions with our old classmates, juniors and seniors. People from different places try to come at this meet. So that they feel that they still have good links with the college.
Exam Structure
The exams were hectic. One semester is of 6 months. On the end of a semester there was one Final Semester exam. But we had internal exams 3 times in 6 months, Marks of these 3 exams were counted for our final grades. Even there were several weekly exams to check our performances. And with exams our attendance was also controlled.
Faculty
The faculty of the college was awesome. They had complete knowledge of what they were teaching and they could help us understand things easily. They were ready to explain things repeatedly. Staff rooms were always open for us to interact with the faculty.
