Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was really interested in chemistry at my school. Faculty: student ratio is nearly 1:6. The faculty is very experienced and their teaching method is understood easily by students. Term exams were conducted two times a year. 99% of students passed the exams. They are not really difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Any student can do a summer internship in our college under the guidance of teachers in the lab. I did an online summer internship as colleges were closed during the corona pandemic. It was an unpaid internship. My experience was very good.
Placement Experience
Not even a single student got placed in my course. No company comes for Chemistry students. I am dissatisfied with placements. After getting the degree, I am pursuing a master's in chemistry because very limited no. of jobs are available for students with bachelor's degrees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the course are nearly 19,000 for a year. Different kinds of scholarships are there to avail for financially weak students like Inspire scholarship, Mrs. Vidya, and Mr. Basheshar Nath Taneja Scholarship for Resident scholars. Campus jobs are not there.
Campus Life
Tempest is the annual fest which is organized in the month of February. Several department fests are also organized throughout January and February. Thousands of books and journals are available in the library. NCC, basketball is very prominent in sports here. Extracurricular activities are very prominent on the campus as there are various societies and clubs like western dance, Indian dance, western music, Indian music, debate, street play, etc.
