Remarks

Smoother process, we had to travel within the campus back and forth a numerous amount of times, the staff is rather sweet and helpful, but they did quite well confuse us as the building for admission and process and fees payment are all different. Otherwise, it was great the campus is beautiful, teachers are great, almost all. About the campus experience, rooms are nice, lots of restrictions in terms of using some appliances like an adapter, extension, etc, otherwise canteen food isn't the best but some out of all days it is actually good, you can't expect hotel food anyway from a hostel, it's an acquired experience. College is wonderful, classes are great, some teachers offer extra help and attention to some students which are actually very helpful for some students with specific weaknesses in their subjects, some problems are here and there, but nothing not possible to overcome, as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I've always loved studies with physical and practical uses and studies, this course lets me challenge myself in something I'm good at, plus the way simple machines reach new heights is just a unique idea altogether to me, hence I chose this course. Faculty is sufficient as of the present situation's student strength, we have 7 subjects 7 teachers, one for each, haven't faced a time yet where the teacher hasn't had time to answer reply or help me with doubts or issues. However, there are some cases where I've felt the teachers don't know enough "around the portion" knowledge, like general knowledge around the subject for us to feel with curiosity on. Sticking to portion does always cut it for some of us curious students. Hence, that isn't a valid enough point to mention. Faculty is fairly qualified for the job as far as I've seen and noticed it myself, and regardless of their qualifications, they are great people altogether. Exam isn't well coordinated.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I haven't heard of any internships from the college whatsoever yet, once our semester ends, I've heard something is being planned and every vacation at the end of every year at the engineering courses, a specific amount of time internship will be allotted, durations from 15days upto 45-day internships for final year semesters.

Placement Experience

2.5

My placement hasn't been done yet, but I have noticed some things such as, there are some unexplained advantages in some courses which other courses either don't have or haven't mentioned at all. Which makes me wonder why the difference Or is it just because of it is about two very different kinds of courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure actually makes me feel it's inflated like brand value, as a new subject and an eye-catcher. Plus being a very versatile and complicated engineering degree, the high price of 1.3 lacs without hostel fees seems expected. I do not recall the name of the scholarship but I was given 20000rs off on my first transaction of the total fees to be paid of the college as scholarship, no more. After analyzing all the financial conditions of me, my family, and their jobs. On-campus jobs aren't there exactly, there are social clubs such as dance, event, math, cycling club, etc. Otherwise, no such jobs as I know of existing.

Campus Life

3

Lots of numerous groups are there which are all led by chairpersons respective to each club individually, there are various kinds such as dance, cycling, event organizing, chess, research, science, space, astronomy club, etc and various others. Life at the campus is surely a unique experience. From waking up to the extreme colds at 15-17 deg in the morning, from walking back from dinner in that same temperature, it becomes warmer when the sun is shining, but that's the only time it's pleasant, however, depending on the perspective you can call it cold or pleasant. There is an issue, which is, the college the hostel and our appointed canteen are all 15-20 mins walking away at least, which eventually becomes inconvenient every time to walk that far every time. Especially during lunchtimes and early breakfast to college times. Availability of books is not limited exactly even though the libraries are smaller sorta, a shelf filled in the staffroom, regardless it's completed with all necessary needs.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The bed, pillow, a bucket, and mug to bath with, are all which can be bought within the hostel when wanted, you can choose to bring your own too, depending on your choices. Hostels are nice, there are nice windows, not all lights are in good condition because they have been used previously by our seniors too, not all walls are clean and or colored well, but they sure are clean and maintained. The hostel warden and bouncers are nice too, they tend to be strong and shrill at nighttime when it comes to putting us back in our rooms after 11 pm-12 am. Meal quality is so-so, not great, I've often seen people get unwell, including my own roommate who lost his appetite numerous amount of times. Some days the food is actually good, some days it is so-so, the canteen other options which are paid, obviously, and not to mention, are unnecessarily overpriced. Personally, the renting price I feel is VERY overpriced, 90000 per year seems a little much, but they charged half for 3.5 month, that's a quarter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
