College management was experienced and good in governance and maintenance of college however they still needs to improve a lot when compared with international institutions.

Usually Anna University entrance exams are required to get into this college but i joined as a lateral entry directly into second year of engineering since i have done my Diploma Engineering. Based on diploma engineering aggregate score counseling will take place in Anna university and gets placed accordingly.

Course curriculum is strictly instructed by Anna University and our college has to abide Anna university rules and regulations anna University is a world wide recognized University and it ranks in top 10 Indian Universities next only to IITs.

There is no internship available in our college. But sometimes they do arrangements for internships with external organizations associated with SRM groups.

We have a good placement head who has been successful in bringing top IT giants like Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Oracle etc for on campus placements. They have got a placement record of 40-50% but placements in core companies still they are lagging behind and relying on off campus placements.

We have technical events in odd semesters and cultural & sports events in even semesters. Technical events like technical symposiums are conducted by each department as an inter college festival. Its a two days events with events like technical paper presentations, project exhibitions, quiz, tech JAM etc will takes place.

Fee structure depends on the type of seat 50% of seats are allocated to merit students and 50% quota for management students for Merit quota who comes through Anna University counseling the fee structure is very nominal but for management quota it depends on person to person.

No as far as i know there was no scholarship being provided but however for sports quota students they do get some scholarships on their tuition and hostel fee.

Campus life was incredible one of the best college campus in entire Chennai. Best infrastructure with playgrounds, auditoriums, cafes, libraries and canteens.

I am day scholar and never been into hostel but from friends experience the accommodation was good with 2 to 3 persons sharing in each rooms but the food was average. The total annual expense during my time for hostel and food was INR 40000 per annum.

Yes we do have a annual alumni meet where all passed out students get together and build their network also ex students do recommendations for campus recruitment with their respective organizations.

Exam structure is based on semesters there are two semester examinations in a year the number of subjects per semester depends on the department and year of engineering usually it will be 8 papers with 6 theory subjects and 2 practicals.

Faculties designated Professors and assistant professors are well experienced and expertise in their field of specialization most of them are Ph.D holders lecturers with minimum qualification of post graduates are taken as freshers and minimal experience.
