Remarks

You need to have completed 10th,12th or diploma from a recognised board or university with atleast 50% marks. And have a decent rank in WBJEE or JEE Mains. I found the application form from internet in college,s ofiicial website. The admission process is great.

I was intrested in computer science engineering and their are great career opportunities in IT sector. The faculties are well experienced they deliver lectures efficiently. Most of the faculties have done PHD The term exams are held in evry 6months as par MAKAUT. we also have 4 CA exams(internal exams)

Exavalu- 5 thousand rupees per month Innoraft- 10 thousand rs per month We do live projects in internships following the latest trends of technology like IOT, AI, ML, Python The review about my internship experience- The teacher was well experienced and taught nicely. We gained nice experience.

Placement Experience

from 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements. TCS,wipro,cognizant,Exavalu,Infosys are some of the companies for B.Tech(CSE) 9LPA to 3LPA is the range of highest and lowest package. 85% students are getting placed Doing job in MNC and later go for M.Tech

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees remain same throughout the course as the fees structure is provided during admission. NSP,Aikyashree and many other government aided scholarships are provided. I got job at Exavalu and wipro with package of 5LPA and 3.5LPA respectively.

In B.Tech we have fest of tech knights held yearly. The library is well equiped with books. The classrooms are gallery system with enough space and has projectors and uninturrepted power supply with wifi connectivity. Cricket, Basketball, Gym, and many other Their are many clubs like tech knights

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur.
