Remarks

There is nothing bad according to me. Just the hostel facilities are somewhat backward.

Entrance Preview

I am currently doing bcom from this institue and i had scored 88% in my first semester. Admission was easy. No hidden fees or charges along with friendly and cooperating members of the college. Teachers are intellectual in their behaviour too. Overall a very good college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Election for the party is held every year with good leaders. The college meets the minimum criteria of a good college and is self sufficient in all its tasks and projects for day to day works.

Internships Opportunities

The general stipend offered is Rs. 7000 and this proves to be a good secutity for the students who belong to lower casts. However, the amountcan be increased.

Placement Experience

Not good oppurtunity in this college for job and placements. In this field, the college lacks alot. There is no placement and job oppurtunities available due to the remote area.

College Events

Technical management festivals, fests, fetes, cultural days, etc are celebrated every year which brings color to the college. Happiness all around.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite good as it is moderate. Neither too high nor too low. One can easily afford to join this college. It costs about 10k for a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there are no schloarships provided for the genrral class. The schedule caste and tribe are offered so.

Campus Life

The extracurrixular activities are done throughout the year. Students teachers all participate in these activities and together try to gain knowledge and experience out of it.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not so good as it is situated in a remote area. Food also not upto the mark as the cook is very arrogant and doesnt listen to ones demand.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are well mannered and desciplined. They always help the juniors with their wokrs and teach good morales. They are always ready to help their juniors in need.

Exam Structure

Exams and lab tests are done on regular basis making us tired almost all of the times. Hectic schedules are involved.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Salesian College, Regain your confidence

I pursued my graduation degree from Salesian College, Sonada and did not sit for any entrance exams for my college admission process. After aplying I got a call from the college course's HoD who took a telephonic interview. the cut was 60% approximately and even though I joined in late I was able to join the course.
