Course Curriculum Overview
Almost all the faculties are doctorates. There is sufficient faculty in the college for the top branches like CSE, ECE, and EE. But, in core branches like ME or Civil, you may see a lack of faculties but it's not a big issue, because everything is very well managed by the teachers.
Internships Opportunities
As I'm in the first semester so, I don't know much about internships but as my seniors told me that many big companies visit campus to provide internships and also give PPO to some students. A companion like Samsung, Amazon, coca-cola and all visit for the internship but mainly all the companies focus on IT branch students (CSE, IT, and ECE)
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, you are eligible to sit for the placement many students get PPO(pre-placement offers). The highest package goes around 40 LPA offered (CSE and ECE branch) and the average package is around 7 LPA. The average package for ECE and CSE branches is around 9 LPA. Many big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, TCS, Flipkart, Infosys visit the campus, and almost 80% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I'm a reserved student I don't need to pay any tuition fees for my course but I have to pay hostel mess fees and other charges, which overall sum up like 80-90 thousand a year. And if you are not reserved add 1.65 lakhs to the amount as your tuition fees per year. And for EWS students or a student having a family income of fewer than 2.5 LPA also get some benefits like TFWS and all which you can check on the college website.
Campus Life
NITJ is wide spread over 150 acres and has a beautiful campus. Utakansh is the annual cultural fest and techniti is the annual technical fest held at NITJ and they are pretty awesome. Coming to the extracurricular activities NITJ has a wide range of sports facilities like cricket, tennis, badminton, basketball, football, volleyball, and all. NITJ just developed their new gym and it's pleasuring to see. Almost all the latest gym equipment is available in the college.
Hostel Facilities
As I'm from the online batch so I don't know much about the hostel registration process but as I heard from my seniors... the hostel is pretty good and the meal server and good to eat, you get non-veg twice a week if you opt for non-veg.
