Remarks
There was an online proctored entrance test held by the university. Eligibility was based on the said test as well as 10th marks, 12th marks, and any extracurricular that we were a part of. SNU Chennai's website has a detailed layout of their fees, application dates, application form and so on. There were no reservation benefits that I could apply for, and the admission process was wonderful overall. They were quick to respond to queries and it was easy to manage and understand.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it's aligned to what I wish to do in the future. Getting into honors after 3rd sem would be amazing, and the class size of 40 helps me get more attention from the experienced faculty. The professors are extremely accomplished and proficient in their subjects as they come from other top colleges. The exams were made tricky but the material was revised thoroughly, and they were great to write. Our endsems were online but the rest were in-person exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided to the students through events that they take part in. Most are paid internships ranging from 2k a month to more. They all relate to the course taken by the student and are encouraged by the university. Assistance is also provided if required.
Placement Experience
From semester 4, students become eligible for placements. This also depends on their academic as well as extracurricular life. The companies and firms will be discussed in the next few months as the founding batch will be the first to witness this. The highest in SNUC's sister college, SSN, was above 1C and SNU hopes for the same. Above 90% of students got placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees go above 225000L per year but in my opinion, are well-deserved. All their structures will be found on SNUC's website in a detailed version. The college does not ask for extra money for other activities, and most of their events are included in the fees. Scholarships are available based on merit, sports, as well as economic backgrounds and can be applied for easily. Campus jobs are not common but placements are very well-rounded.
Campus Life
Life at campus is wonderful, we have lovely infrastructure and all ammenities.The social life is also easy to navigate as we may interact with SSN students as well. SNUC's fests will be starting soon, and the founding batch will carry it through. The library is very well-equipped with books of all subjects. The classrooms are well-designed with proper benches, and a big whiteboard. Ventilation is also very good. All sports complexes are provided, and all sports are encouraged. Extra-curriculars are also focused on, and there is a variety of events for all interests. College clubs are formed by the students.

Comparing between the two, SNU Chennai was a much better option.
