You have to score min 60 percentile plus in jee mains for admission in b.tech if you are from other states if you are from Punjab itself you have 50 percentile you can get admission you can find all details of colleges at its official website just search IKGPTU in google and tap on the first website the admission is taken through college. counseling process so be active at the time of counseling it's the best government college and its NIRF ranking is 120 which is also the best.

I have too much interest in computer science from childhood so I took this course and it's trending nowadays itself and every class there are 60 students means in every course there is the intake of 60 students only so it's better to understand everything in class and there is also each teacher for each subject and from practical work, the class is divided into 2 groups which is too good because you can understand each and everything very easily and perform all activities with maximum time the teachers are too much helpful and all teachers have done p.hd and they teach everything very perfectly that makes easy to understand the terms exams are of two types which are midterm and semester exams and its difficulty level is medium if you know a little bit of every topic you score good marks in each exam.

TCS, Internshala, Infosys, and many others companies give internship and web development bugs fixer and marketing roles companies give with a stipend as per the performance. One of the projects of Internshala is the isp program where you have to promote Internshala and you will get paid for that.

Infosys, tcs, Paytm, byjus, Tata motors are the major companies who visit the college for placement and they give many offers as per the result and interviews the highest package is 24 lakhs and 6.5 lakhs average package and all profile offered during placement approximately 60 to 65 percent students get placed each year my plan after getting the degree is to join Paytm.

As it is a government school its fees is 37000/- only per semester and if you have 85 percent plus marks then you will 50% discount in fees and you have maintained 8CGPA to continue scholarship and it's university own scholarship and you can apply for many internships where you will get a stipend and in 4th year there are many choices of companies to join from college placement itself.

All courses related books are available in the library like coding book semester subjects extra books and there are too many sports activities of cricket hockey football and tournaments every month there are each semester teams also for cricket and there are indoor games also hosted by students with the help of teachers every time when students want and there are many functions always on special occasions.
