Akash's Review On Aryabhatta College, New Delhi

Scored 80% in 12th Boards . Got this college without any entrance exam. Only merit based admission. No need to crack any entrance exam or any interview . I just got this college by scoring good marks in boards 3 years ago.

Course curriculum is a set by the delhi university. No role of college in it. About my course mathematics I would say that Its the best opportunity for an individual to get admission in my college with just good marks in twelfth boards. No personal interview etc takes place in admission process and all the courses in my college are honors based.

General stipend we get in internship is 5500. I did internship in the first year only Then got busy with extra co curricular activities and hence no time left for internship . Had to join CAT and UPSC classes in Delhi later also.

Still in the Final year, hope to get a good job soon. Past records of my seniors are quite good. They all are well settled in Top MNCs like HCL, Infosys etc.

College events occur on a monthly basis from freshers party every year to fest of each college every year . Lot of college to attends festivals. College fest name is Lehar occurring in February every year. Last year Hardy Sandhu came in the fest .

Fee structure is totally feasible. Its just about 7000 per year with admission fee and all charges included in it and about 800 Rs examination fees taken each semester from semester 1 to semester 6. One can easily get his her graduation degree in less than 30000 provided that he passes in all subjects.

No good scholarship offered for General candidates. If you a SC or ST category then you can apply for free education through filling a form provided in the office.

Gender ratio is about 44:56 in my class. Sports events occur on university level or a competition between two neighbour colleges take place. Rest Dance and signing competition occurs mostly and so is nukkad Natak of my college famous.

Had interaction with seniors in the first year. They were in sem 6 , it was the placement day for them. I asked how many of them are appearing for the placement drive. She said of 55 students in class 36 are present and rest have not applied. Hope 22 out of 36 gets a decent job.

Labs are much better compared to other DU college having 35 -40 computers. All are working in proper condition. Exams occur twice a year because of the semester mode system set by university of Delhi. I won't say that we can chill out during exams because internals of each subject in a particular semester occurs twice . Rest 3 months are totally fun.
