An online application form is invited every year for different courses in different departments. The selection of candidates for admission in different Honours courses will be on the basis of an entrance exam in which the candidate is seeking honours. Candidates can apply for more than one course in case he or she is not sure about his or their admission to the selected course. Admission in any honours paper is necessary for the candidate to score a minimum of 50% marks in the subjects concerned and also an aggregate of 50% marks in the intermediate+2 examination. Candidates are advised to not take admission if they didn't pursue business maths or maths in 11th and 12th. For Bcom accounts, Honours candidates must score a minimum of 40% in each subject and an aggregate of 50% in their Plus two examination. Only commerce and Science background students can apply for this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to pursue BCom accounts Honours from this college because the facilities and faculty provided by the college are excellent. St Xavier's College Ranchi is popularly known for its BCom accounts Honours department. The professors here are very much supportive. Notes provided by the professors are apt and provide the best of their knowledge. The course is of 3 years duration. Each year consists of two semesters. The semester wise includes 1 mid sem exam and one final exam. You need to clear all the semester exams by scoring the minimum marks provided. The college is very much strict regarding the attendance of the student. Students are scored between 1 to 5 on the basis of their attendance and the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for Bcom accounts Honours department in sanjeevians College Ranchi is rupees 32150. It varies between 32000 to 33000. There is a little concession for the SC-ST and OBC students. Considering the faculty and the infrastructure provided by our college the fee structure is very much affordable as compared to other colleges in the state.
Campus Life
Saint Xaviers College is very much popular because of its first called Xavier Utsav full stop the fest is held generally in the month of February full stop there are many events taking places such as fashion shows, VOXA, and much another fun event. The college is beautifully decorated and many food stalls are also put. There are many clubs and groups in the college. The most popular Clubs of the college are rotaract club NCC NSS. Also, there are many social groups such as team Hullad team Abhivyakti, etc.
