My geniune review of GNDEC, LUDHIANA

Admission process was very simple and straightforward. They also assigned a teacher to help individually. I had to submit my jee mains marks/rank. As this was the time of kind of lockdown the whole process was shifted virtually. The cut-off was not that hard anything above 80%tile(in jee mains) would work. There is also sikh reservation and also rural reservation which makes things more easy for those candidates. Overall i would say admission is very simple process.

Talking about the course i took CSE as my course. I love computers and making stuff with programming. The faculty gere is also very good some teachers are expetional while some not so friendly but they are well qualified (mostly phd) and also very helpful. Exams are taken regularly two MST's(24 marks each) and then final semester exam, which is pretty difficult if you didn't attend the classes :)

Then again talking about the internships there are plenty of opportunities bit you have to be very hardworking and dedicated. Even if you are not able to get a internship many projects and practical work is done throughout the course which is useful in real life and off campus internships are also available.

On campus placements are provided and almost everyone is placed into a mass-recruiter(tcs, etc) with 4-5lpa sallery. Which is a downside but you can grow and even apply for off campus placements. In punjab GNDEC has a good reputation and many offer good packages to our students. The alumini network is also good they visit campus time to time. As a fun fact famous Punjabi singer SIDHU MOOSE WALA is also from our college.

Fee structure is also pretty simple 40-50k per-semester and 25-30k per-semester for hostel. Scholarships are available for rural and reserved quota, and many other scholarship programs are introduced while the course. Me personally got Total-fee waiver seat and I'm pretty happy with that. Internships are there but for that one has to be pretty hardworking.

The campus is full of greenery its very beautiful. The air is so pure you can feel that. The infrastructure is also pretty but some building do require some renovations. Library is very good almost all books are available and also every department bas its own library and one huge common library. Classrooms are also equipped with smart boards which make teaching fun. Sports is also promoted very much there are rewards from the principal to the winning teams which also includes cash rewards. Plenty of social clubs and societies are there which are so much fun they help us grow together. And also the college website is managed by students which provide all the necessary stuff and information.

Now talking about the hostels they are such a love. Nobody can forget the hostel days they are perfect. Doesn't matter the walls are not coloured or have some great words on them those are perfect. You can't love them more. The mess is also decent the Panjabi taste is there. Sometimes it's not cooked well but most of the times its super tasty. Hostels are also affordable and easily accessible.
