Remarks
Eligibility of the course is to clea JEE mains and advanced. One can find application form of jee mains on NTA website and after clearing it, find the form on jeeadv.nic.in, application for advanced starts just after the results of jee mains and usually happens in the month of May/June
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had the interest for chemistry and with the rank I got in JEE advanced, I decided to opt this course. Faculty to student ratio is 1:1 approximately. Proffessors are highly qualified and everyone is a PhD holder. We have two semesters every year and two exams namely mid sem and end sem and it's easy to pass the exam if you study a bit daily.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am in the second year, I was not eligible for the on campus internship. Many of my seniors sat for the intern season this year and they got placed in companies like Oracle, IBM, Goldman Sachs and many more. Projects usually includes Web development and App development self made projects.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from the second last semesters and they can sit for on campus internship in their pre final year. Many companies visit our campus including Microsoft, Rakuten, Flipkart and many more, number of offers made were 1000+ and the highest package this year was Rs 2.16 crore and average package is around 20-21 lakhs. Almost everyone gets a job after completing their education.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is usually fixed for iit students and it depends on the category of the student. The cost of study is slightly high as one has to pay 2Lakh + every year but its value for money considering the labs, library, infrastructure.
Campus Life
Many clubs are run by students for students and in all fields few of them are coders club(COPS), Biz(business) club, FMC(Film and media council), Social projects club, dance/music clubs are too there which help in the overall development of a student.
