Remarks

The admission process was smooth. I scored 223 in jee mains and as a result, I got admission into MNIT Jaipur. If anyone gives jee mains or jee advance exam, then they get to apply for JOSA counseling from which they can apply for any IIT, NIT, or another prestigious college. I followed the same procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

There were three exams previously in 2018 and 2019, two midterms and one end-term exam per semester. Then from 2020 onwards, one mid-term and one end-term exam is taken every semester. Exam difficulty is moderate, most of the questions are asked from the textbooks or the study material that is provided by the professor. One week of studies before the exams are enough to score decent marks in exams.

Apple, De shaw, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Salesforce, Arcesium, Flipkart, and many other tech companies visit our campus every year and offer stipends ranging from 30,000 to 1,50,000 per month. Their full-time offers are also good that lies between 10 to 60 LPA per annum.

Placement Experience

Many companies visit our campus regularly throughout the year. College placement is very effective and almost 70% of people get direct placement through placement cell only. I also have got an offer for a software developer role at Ixigo. I'll join it in June 2022.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are several scholarships based on an income of less than 3 to 5 lacs per annum. Also, there are scholarship programs for reserved caste students. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any scholarship because I do not fulfill any of the above criteria. I have secured full-time offer from college placement at Ixigo, Gurgaon, India.

Campus Life

Code shows - coding club of MNIT Jaipur Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (UBA) National service scheme (NSS) Telegram group named MNIT Jaipur where students of the college are present to discuss on several issues and works for the welfare of students.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
