Overall my college is good and this college is specifically good for CSE students.

I got admission to this college through JEE mains. You can also get admission through WBJEE. Most of the students take admission through WBJEE. 80% of seats are filled by WBJEE,10% through JEE, and 10% by management quota. After counseling, you get an allotment letter through which you can get admission. One improvement I want to see in the admission process is to increase the percentage of seats for JEE.

I choose CSE because it is the most useful branch in today's generation. Today everything in the market is working digitally because of computer engineers and it makes our life easy. The faculty in my college is very good. They make our every topic crystal and clear. They are well educated. Semester exams were held offline previously very strictly but nowadays exams are held online due to covid.

I didn't know much about internships as I am a 1st-year student. Internships can be done in two ways, one is a self internship, and another we can get an internship through college. Students have to do two internships in four years. If our internship is good then in the future we can get a job in that company.

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for placements. There are many companies visited in our colleges such as TCS, Wipro, infotech, BYJUS and many more. The highest package of our college is 12LPA and the lowest is 2.6LPA. The average package is about 4.9LPA. About 70-80% of students are placed every year. I plan to get a good job after the completion of my degree.

The fee of our course is nearly 4 lakhs. We have to pay the fees semester-wise. There is no extra fee taken for the exam. There are many scholarships available for students through which they can pay their fees.

There are some fests organized in our college every year. but now the number of fest decreases due to covid. The best fest is conducted in February. There is a central library in our college from where you can issue books for semesters through a library card. Sports events are organized once a year and blood donation camps are also organized. There is a separate club for organizing cultural activities.

In our hostel 2 students' rooms are given which tables, almirah and beds are given. The meal quality is overall good but the main thing is that there is no non-veg in the meal. We get purified water and hot water is also available. The registration process of the hostel is also done through college. In each semester we have to pay 27000 for a hostel.
