Remarks

The admission process for SCMS Pune is very smooth, you have to give SET and if shortlisted you're invited for a PI-WAT. anyone can register for the test at set-test.org. you just need to have more than 50% marks in your senior secondary examination in order to be eligible for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

SCMS Pune offers a cafeteria approach where students can choose their own courses and complete the program as a general, single or dual specialization degree. The faculty at SCMS is one of the best in the country as they have sound academic knowledge combined with tremendous corporate experience.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

SCMS has a dedicated Internship and Career Development Cell which provides internship opportunities for students of all batches. Students can start their internship right from 1st semester. There is also a compulsory corporate internship program in the 4th semester.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements from their 5th semester, various companies such as KPMG, PWC, Barclays etc. visit campus to conduct placements. Companies offer placements in multiple domains such as Marketing, Finance, HR etc. College also offers a mandatory corporate internship program for students in 4th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's a fee hike of 5-10% every academic year and batch toppers of every semester are provided with a 50% scholarship, there are a few scholarship programs for students with a background in sports as well.

Campus Life

The Campus life at SCMS is unparalleled, there are 20+ Clubs/boards/cells which conduct activities throughout the academic year. The Academic Cell of SCMS Pune also organises the annual intra college management fest "Conoscenza" exclusively for the First Year students of college.

Interview Experience

Journey to SCMS starts with writing an admission test that has questions from Quant, LR, English, and GK. Shortlisted students are then invited for a writing ability test and a personal interaction for further selection process.

BMCC college provide the internship as well as placements to the interested students. Average package in BMCC college your can expect 4 lpa and the highest can go up to 7 lakhs. Looking at the current scenario in the market placements are okay in BMCC college. Placement Experience:

WWI has a Placement Cells that keeps a track on opportunities for students. There is a mandatory internship that students need to complete after completion of sem 4 before sem 5 is commenced. Students can also get internships in the winter break during sem5. There are various live projects that students can work on depending on their interests and experience during the academic year. Final Placement opportunities are posted to students during sem 6 where students need to list themselves and let the cell know about their interests and priorities.

Symbiosis: a zig zag experience

I chose Symbiosis because it offered International Business which is of my keen interest. When I contacted other colleges and enquired about this course, they said they don't have this course or some said "we're not sure". I mean how can they be not sure of their own curriculum? And I applied only to SYMBIOSIS. Now I'm in my final year and dual specializing in International Business and Marketing. For the admission process, firstly fill the application form and then they'll also conduct a mock test when main entrance exam is around a month away or smtg. And then Symbiosis Entrance EXAM (SET EXAM) happens. After qualifying that,the student is shortlisted to WAT (written assessment test). It's like an essay writing test, you will be given a topic and 20mins of time. Lastly it's the PI (personal interview) and then merit list or not depends on student performance....Read More
