Remarks

I won't say that it is the best college but wuld like to say only that if it is not best it is not worst also It is a college that will make you feel like home and studies are good at their place also.

Entrance Preview

Nothing admission is done on cut off basis. Students who are 12th passed out are eligible to get admission on the basis of cut off which arr announced by Delhi University.

Internships Opportunities

PGDAV is very active in terms of offering jobs and internship. Since the first day of the college,there have been many workshops regarding Jobs and interviews. Apart from this,many recruiting companies have been regularly coming in the college to offer jobs. So definately the college is very good in terms of jobs and internship.

College Events

The clubs and associations are amazing. There are end number of association and totally amazing there are clubs for every single form of art be it painting,drawing,guitar, dancing,drama etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not receive any scholarship neither did any of my friends have. So i critically dont have any idea what are the financing facilities,apart from the ones offered to reserved categories.

Infrastructure is not very good but not very bad though. Its is a compact infrastructure and easily accessible. Though some improvements can be made in the old building. But there are two newly constructed buildings which totally adds charm to the campus.

Hostel Facilities

I am not a part of the Student housing but food available in the canteen is only satisfactory. But sometimes the food is so much mind blowing that one can even end up eating his finger.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helping to the freshers they live like a family and there in no ragging,fighting etc in the college they are like an inspiration to the new comers in the college.

Exam Structure

Exams are done on semester basis.i.e, 6 months.And exams are very well conducted in the college. Professors are very well behaved and make home like environment which make students feel very good.

Studies had never been so light-felt as it is in PGDAV. The professors are so friendly and ready to devote all of their time to teach us or clear our doubts. Its a completely warm and home like environment in PGDAV. The teachers always try to do their best when it comes to teaching students and academically PGDAV is definitely well Rated.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college.
