Moving to the main point of discussion the eligibility of the course is you have cleared Diploma in any polytechnic institute with a minimum of 60 percent, I got admission without having to appear in JEE exam. The application form is provided by the college department office, you have to visit there. Reservations are also provided for the SC and ST categories.

The college environment is very good and peaceful. I wanted to get a degree in computer science engineering so I choose this university as this is Punjab's second-best university, best from a placement point of view after PEC. The teaching staff is also very much lenient and most of the teachers hold a doctorate degree in computer science engineering. The total number of students in the class was 90 when I got admission through lateral entry. Total 8 semesters are divided into four years of course. After 6 months, semester exams took place. The exam's difficulty level is not easy but we can't say hard either. In my third, fourth, and fifth semesters I easily cleared these online exams organized by our university.

TCS Ninja provides a maximum number of internship offers during the 2021 placements session. Walmart provides the highest salary package to the students. You can do an internship in any company with a no-objection certificate signed by the head of the department. Various government-aided internships are also there to take participation in. The college department had made an official placement group connected via emails and various offers made by companies are announced there if you want to take part you can take that offer.

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for the campus internships offered by companies, that provide placements after completion of the course. In the 7th semester students who have the skills, got placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, TCS Ninja, etc The highest package offered in our university is 13.50 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. About 80% of the students got placed last year in our university. My senior told me how he got placed in TCS private limited company and assured me that I will get placed too.

Semester fees I paid was- 79,000 in the first semester. 50,000 in the second semester. 71,000 in third and again 50,000 in the fourth semester. Currently am in the 5th sem and I paid 70,000 again. The scholarship is also offered to poor students on basis of cgpa. If your cgpa is good enough, you can be provided with two types of scholarships that are full fees concession and half fees concession. Handicapped students are also provided with the scholarship offered by Guru Nanak Dev University. Various companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, TCS limited, etc.. provide offers to the students in our college too.

Youth fest is conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University's main campus, Amritsar. Four to five participants according to the regional campuses can take part in the youth fest. Tech fest is also organized by the students and teachers annually. Bhai Gurdas Library, a large number of books are available in the library of our university. One student can take only 5 books at one time and should keep it in good condition too. Various sports like football, basketball are also provided by the University along with huge playgrounds. Various activities like paper presentation, decoration competitions are also associated by our department.
