Small glimpse of VNIT Nagpur

As everyone know that students get admission in VNIT Nagpur through JOSSA councelling based on their rank in jee mains. So from my opinion to improve the admission process they should make the councelling process easy and student friendly.

There are two semesters in a year in this college and in each semester we have two exams - midsem exams and end sem exams. The difficulty level of questions in exams is moderate, means if you have studied well then you can pass the exams very easily.

Their are many projects to clarify the tasks like Design and Fabrication of Thin-film Sensor for Hypersonic flows, Response of hemispherical sandwich shell structures subjected to projectile impact, Development of Fluid – Structure Interaction (FSI) Solver for Cardiovascular Disease: An Aneurysm etc. Also proffs are helpful.

From the 3rd year students can take part in the internship programs provided by college. Top recruiters of vnit Nagpur are Wipro, VE Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd, Toshiba, TCS, Siemens, Reliance Industries Ltd, ORACLE India Pvt Ltd etc. No of offers made are 480 till sep 2021. The highest package for the year 2020-21 is 34.25 lakh per annum and average package is 8.42 lakh per annum. Percentage ratio of students getting placements is very good and increasing year by year. My plans after getting degree is to get a good placements in a top company.

Their are many types of scholarship in the college through which students get benefitted like fee remission through students get their whole fee back if their annual income is less than 1lakh and get 2/3 of their fee if annual income is between 1lakh to 5lakh. Also at campus they provide education loan for financialy weak students.

Their are separate grounds for each sports at the campus, also a swimming pool is in the process this year. Their are many social groups like dhruva club, e-cell vnit run by students through which students can take part in many social and cultural activities. Cultural fests are also organised. Apart from college official website their are also websites run by students like e-cell vnit, axis vnit etc.
