Remarks

For b.tech jee mains is the only option to get admission here. The cutoff for CSE is about 10k for mains. As this is an institution of national importance and comes under nitser council all the reservation policies for sc/St/obcs are there.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As I was a math enthusiast and also liked computer-related stuff I choose it. All the teachers here are highly qualified and there is a good understanding rather than relation btw students and teachers. For every undergraduate course, there will be two exams each, one is mid-sem and the other is end-sem.CGPA method is applied here to judge your performance. Exams are not difficult though you need to study the whole sem to get good marks every year otherwise you have to sit for the supplementary exam. Physics in the first year is quite tough and has high failure chances. So be careful about that.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Interns are thereby Microsoft , Amazon ,IBM. They generally give projects on algorithms, data science, and machine learning. Stipends are pretty good although I don't know exactly. I heard from my senior that it varies from company to company and depends on the roles u are offered. Most offered roles are software engineer and developer, Consultancy, Data analyst, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 3rd year, you are eligible for internships, and from the beginning of the 4th year, you will get the pre-placement offer. Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro TCS, Accenture, Adobe, and many other companies visited here. The average package is about 12 lpa and the maximum went 51 lpa in 2021. About 85 percent of students got placed and the rest opted for higher studies. I am opting for higher studies after my b.tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Don't know about the fee high policy here as it is a government institution. Coming to the scholarship, all the major scholarships by government and nongovernment organizations are available here.GAABESU is a platform made by the prestigious alumni of this college and they also provide attractive scholarships every year for different fields. Our placement is really good for cs students. About 85 percent of students are placed with avg salary of 12 lpa. The highest lpa is 51 lpa. MNCs like Microsoft Amazon Wipro visit every year.

Campus Life

3.5

The fest happens every year like REBECA is the annual cultural fest and instruo is the annual tech fest. Another small departmental fest happens. There is a central Library named after Ramanujam. Modern science magazines to books to historical science and technology papers are there in the library. Classrooms are big enough and air-conditioned. Inter nit happens every year and other annual, inter-college, interdepartmental, inter hostel sports happen here. There are two large grounds called lords and oval on the campus. Groups for coding, chess, athletics, literature, debate are there.

Hostel Facilities

2

Coming to the hostel every room contains 4 students. A seperate hostel for boys and girls is there. Basic facilities like wifi, common room, indoor sports are there. But especially the boy's hostel is not that good. Buildings are old and need repairing. Mess food quality is okay. The menu is decided by the warden. You get veg and nonveg food here. They provide breakfast lunch and dinner. No tiffin or snacks they provide.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
