Remarks
I took the Saat exams for admission. The exam was online due to covid. It was easy. The syllabus was the same as any board syllabus. In online mode, The questions were of multiple choice type. The question had equal weightage from all the subjects. The results were declared and based on our performance, we were given our branches.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is top-notch. I choose the Btech CSE branch. The curriculum for the aforesaid is as follows 1st year-Basic knowledge of Java, Physics, Introduction to algorithms, etc 2nd year-More knowledge of java, Advanced algorithm,probability, and statics, etc 3rd year-Introduction to networking, Hardware, ADVANCED JAVA, Introduction to Python, Advanced Algorithm, trees, graphs 4th year-5 different areas are given of which we have to choose any 4. The faculty is very helpful and polite.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also provided to 3rd-year students with a stipend. Sometimes PPO(pre-placement offers) is also given by the Companies based on their performance in internships. We can take any projects in the college and as the faculty members are very helpful, we will be aided by them during doing it!!
Placement Experience
Very less private colleges promise good placement, SOA being one of them. I don't know about other campuses' placement but the placement of the Btech course is very good. The highest package of this year was 45 LPA offered by Microsoft. The average package is 5 lakhs. Lots of companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, Accenture, High radius, and Cognizant come every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a little bit high The fee structure is as follows Tuition fees yearly-235k Hostel and messy early -around 100k Transportation cost-around 15k We are also given scholarship based on our board marks 35k- 90%+ in both 10th and 12th 25k-80%+ in both 10th and 12th 15k-70%+ in both 10th and 12th
Campus Life
There are 4 campuses of SOA. Campus 1-ITER ENGINEERING COLLEGE Campus-2-Soa Medical Campus 3-SOA law Campus 4-soa agricultural Campus and campus 2 are the best campuses of SOA University The social life of SOA is just like any other colleges There are a lot of clubs in every sphere of activities Altogether, life at SOA university will be worth remembering
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities in Soa are very standardized. We have 2 room sharing,3 room sharing and 4 room sharing non-ac hostels, and 2 room sharing ac hostels of boys. In girls, we have only 3 room sharing non-ac hostels and 2 room sharing ac hostels. The food at Soa University is top-notch with every safety and hygiene.
