Course Curriculum Overview

3

As usual, I choose the course because I love mechanical engineering and I am the biggest fan of Iron man and he is a mechanical engineer so I choose this course. The rest of the ratio between faculty and students is 34: 720 The qualification of the faculty members is very high and they are also good teacher their teaching method is different from each other some faculty members teach with their notes and some faculty members just do board work and read the books, and in this engineering field, the teachers do practical classes very well. In every semester, per subject 5 exams are taken by teachers 4 continuous assessments are completed by giving the test exam and next to the final semester exam this exam is easily cracked by the students if they study well. This college is under makaut University stand makaut University question is not too much easy and is not too much hard so it is a medium level question so students can easily crack the exam.

Internships Opportunities

2

Especially, in this college, some IT companies are coming for campus placements and Textile Technology companies. It varies each year. It's is not exactly tell... Here Microsoft, Wipro, cognizant, etc companies are taking the placement. In completing the BTech course you get many projects which will increase your skills. In summer vacation some teachers have arranged a tour in some companies to show the students practical fieldwork. Overall the college and faculty members are good but placement is very low. The low placement reason is the low technical vacancy in West Bengal. So students must take the preparation of Higher studies cracking exams.

Placement Experience

1.5

Campus placement is not so good especially the mechanical engineering campus and other departments like CSE and textile department campus are good. Here 40% campusing is taken. Average 1.8 lakh is package and highest package 7.8 lakh. Good companies are come to take the campusing. Students should complete just their BTech course in this college and they should think about higher studies like Mtech, MBA, etc. Students should take the preparation for this higher studies cracking exams like GATE, CAT, etc. Future students, I must suggest you take the college for just completing the BTech because it's very tough to get the campus in this college. You must take the preparation of Higher studies cracking exams from 1st year. This college fees structure is too much low so it is very affordable for the students who are belonging to poor family

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a lovely point is that in this college the fee structure is too much Low maximum fees is 35k in 4 years. The students can easily handle it and you get the opportunity of scholarship and financial assistance like tfw facility so students can complete the BTech course in this college easily. To study in this college students can get many scholarships like is SVMCM scholarship, OASIS scholarship, SIEMENS scholarship, SPECIAL CODING RELATED SCHOLARSHIP, etc. But you must remember that you can get only one scholarship which is provided by the government and you will get your scholarship which is gotten by your eligibility. And here 1 plus point is that you can get TFW facility to reduce the course fees. But this TFW facility can get a few students.

Campus Life

3.5

Yeah, many fests are organized in this college especially some few fests like coding fest, annual fest, Swarswati puja, in this coding fest you can get a scholarship to take participate in this coding program if you win you get a 3.5 lac scholarship amount. In this college, a library is available so students can easily get books which are helping to complete their Btech course. And now the classroom topic so I should mention special qualities that the classrooms are clean and clear and this is a modern classroom, with projector machine, this college area is fully covered with WiFi facilities. A big square field is in front of this college. Many sports events are arranged by student associations and these sports facilities are very good. But I am not interested in sports so it is boring for me. Of course many social groups, the club is available for students like the photography club, anti-ragging club, coding group, College's own Youtube channel, Official FB groups for students run by students. Ragging free

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are good, large, well air-conditioned, 24X7 electrical facilities. The meal quality is dependent on students because students will go for Marketing. On the menu vegetables, curry, meat, egg, and fish are available. But I again repeat it' depends on students Hostel facility is good but 1st-year students can't get hostel room, this 1 cons point. Also, you can get a good room, mess, pg in this college area. In this facilities will get around 2000 fees without meal charge. Meal charge varies in PG, in mess, etc. Students can get Mess room, pg in around 1Km So it's very good I think. Also, students get a room around 200m. I suggest the future students get a room or pg it's better than Hostel, for your study. I think it's no need to explain

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
