Remarks

My college management is providing very good coaching for placements. The only bad remark of my college is they charge more fees for students every year. Every year they increase the transportation fees. But still the poor bus condition remains.

Entrance Preview

I didn't took any entrance exam for taking this course. As i finished my 12th in Puducherry. I applied through CENTAC and got seat in this college.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship program currently in my college.

Placement Experience

We have a very good placement activities in my college. Companies like Zoho (4.5 LPA), TCS (3.3 LPA), Tech Mahindra (3.25 LPA), L&T Infotech (3 LPA) frequently visit my college. Many others company are yet to come. Still now 410 students are placed in my college.

College Events

There is no cultural events conducted in my college since I joined. Last year we had a technical symposium but not up to level. The participation level was less in number.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The only bad remark of my college is the Fees structure. They charge even for some silly things. Also they more amount for transportation fees. They also increase it every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship offered by the college management. But I will apply for Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Financial Assitance scheme that is offered by the Govt. of Puducherry.

Campus Life

We have a very good infrastructure for the curriculum. I am also very proud to say that my college is the only college which has excellent lab facilities for Mechanical Department. Sports encouraged by the management is very less to the students.

Exam Structure

All the structure related to exams and labs will be well planned and done accordingly. There wont be any deviation in this regard.

Faculty

The faculty are good in knowledge except few. Some faculties have huge experience and have high knowledge. Some faculties have less knowledge only since they are freshers.

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year 6th semester itself but the college does not bring any company for placement on time. 5 years back standard companies lkke tsc, hcl, cts etc used to come. But nowaday it is very rare. Lowest package is 2 lpa and highest package is 6 lpa. Average is 4 lpa. Very least students get placed. Try off campus. Do not believe the college

By 7th Semester, students are eligible for Campus Placements and there are several companies that have visited our college during a course of 2-3 months and there were many offers made, highest package was of 9.5 LPA and the average is of 5-6LPA Students are getting Placed very well, and i have place already so my plan is to get into the job and excell in the IT Sector

As I have aimed to get addmission in st Joseph's College of engineering in Chennai in councelling. But due to some circumstances I couldn't get seat in that college. Due to parents opinion i have joined in sri manakula Vinayagar enginnering college. Comparison between st Joseph's and sri manakula Vinayagar enginnering college is cannot be done because of cost of living will be different from Chennai. I choosed this college over other colleges mainly for its placements. But the bad things was it's donation fees. Which was too high.
