Placements

The course that I availed for is BALLB. And for admission in 5 year law programme you have to give CLAT(common law entrance test) till 2000 ranks are accepted by NLUs and after that from 2000-9000 ranks, these ranks are accepted by IP university in which you will find MAIMS, ULLRS, VIPS, JIMSetc. As I had a rank of 6200 I filled the application form of IPU that one can find on the official site of Indraprastha University. I gave CLAT and after that while I was waiting for result I filled the application form of IP university that costs for around 1200 for bachelors in arts and law integrated. Then after I got my result I filled the same rank in my application form. After that I got mail from the university for the payment of the seat and after that I got my enrollment letter. I went to the college with my parents by gathering all the documents that they ask for from the university's website. There were teachers who filled the forms verified them, payments of fees 1,75,000 /yr was done.

I chose this course because I want to be in litigation. So in the first place I joined law school. The faculty in our college is great, understanding teachers, notes are provided by them, friendly lectures and interactive classes. The teaching by faculty is also good as some of them are even IP very own Alumni so they're pretty good in teaching. Exams happens twice. Internals that you give within the college and externals twice in an year with some regular PSDA and other assignments. Well exams are easies if you study and refer to teacher's notes.

Till now as maims has just introduced the five year law course five years back. So campus placements are happening this year only after the result of the externals of the final year students. Though the faculty is great but due to tough competition only a few get campus placements so its better to be at the top.

From 3rd semesters ie 2nd year students start doing internships. And from the 3rd years ie 6th semester the goals are clear. Campus placements happen after the completion of the whole course depending on your marks and interships done.

The total fees of the course is 5.5L for five years. And 1.75L per annum. Though fees is a bit high but as compared to the other NLUs and private colleges the fees is very optimum for a professional law course. Jobs and other campus postings depends on your marks and how many or from where you did interships. Though college itself does provide regular seminars and intership sessions.

Campus is great. Campus is huge. Boys hostel is there a great Auditorium. With clean washrooms, big classrooms though ACs are not there. Social life in the campus is good too no bullying or ragging. Just studying and having fun. College's very own social groups and clubs are there that you can join after the interview. College even provide MUN on a national and international levels.
