Overall u just can't question over facilities and management of college it is very nice college for building up your future.

I appeared on JEE mains and scored 146 with a CBSE board % of 86 so after checking some courses in this institute I finally opt for this branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really fabulous teachers have their own style of assessments and faculties are really talented and brilliant there are sufficient practical labs to ensure a practical experience with analytical studies.

About internship it generally starts at 3rd year, 2nd year in some cases, Well stipends depends on the companies and your eligibility towards internship.

Placement and job opertunities is a min 90?(100? in some cases) almost all the students got the placements this year past is not less too.

Certain national events are celebrated like TECH FESTIVALNITR USTAVINNOVATION also some sports and cultural events on regional levels students from all over India take Part in these fests and enjoy a lot.

Fee structure is just normal,1,25,000 almost per year for btech 70,000 per year for integrated cources it is normal like every other college but somewhere a little expensive too.

Almost all the banks look forward to offer loans for a student in nit here in this institute a branch of sbi do provide loans without any discrepancy.

To campus life is just fabulous we have got many friends among us to help in every situation hostel is lot enjoyment here also other facilities are available inside hostel u just don't have to worry after anything, for shopping and other stuffs we have college buses.

Food quality is a wow,nice cooking and serve of food routines are being changed every month and rentals are also less affordable,I mean.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are just fine though it depends on the zones from where u belong they are very much helping and always look forward to help any junior interacting with them helps u knowing things and other stuffs faster.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is just normal like in every college two sems a year classes are a must for everyone refusing which have a punishment over grades.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

I had a choice for chemical engineering in NIT Calicut,kerala my home state but i was not interested in chemistry so I dropped that choice and preferred electrical engineering in NIT Rourkela because choosing this would be more related to core and computer field which also was the one I was interested in.
