Remarks
IIT BHU is ranked 14 in the top best 15 engineering colleges in India. Why I choose IIT BHU because the college infrastructure is good and it is situated in my hometown, the college has good placement standards and international placements are also available and as soon as I found that I am able to meet the cutoff criteria of the college I immediately applied for JOSAA counselling and was able to secure my seat in IIT BHU. The admission process was good and smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up to date and it is according to international standards. The curriculum helps us to understand the insight knowledge of electronic components and the basic fundamentals of the electronic components. The curriculum is the proper blend of their and practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is compulsory and for the internship, we have to register our details with the college placement committee and we are also free to opt for an off-campus internship we have a better company option. The average stipend for an internship was around 40k.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is as per to the industrial norms and standard IIT BHU is one of the popular institutes for its placement. The college is able to reach a 100% placement record. The placement committee plays an important role during the placement process as all the placement related queries are solved by the placement committee and they are in charge of the full placement conduction. The highest package for our batch was around 65 LPA and the average salary package was around 20 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college annual course fee is around 1.33 lakh means the total 4-year program fee is around 5.20 lakh which is very reasonable in comparison to other top IITs of India and the college. Campus Life
Technex is the technical fest of the college where we get an opportunity to demonstrate our technical skills. The college provides a good and supportive environment for studies. The college infrastructure is very well maintained. The college library is the house of many international journals and books that are very beneficial during our academics. The college labs are very good and big plus they have modern facilities which really helps us during our research and project work.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel of the college is good. The facilities in the IIT BHU hostel are really commendable. The rooms are properly ventilated. The hostel mess food is really good and during the weekend time, we get an opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Varanasi. The wardens and the staff are very professional and because of them the hostel decorum is very well maintained. The biggest plus point of the hostel is its price and at this price of 7500 hostel is really worth it.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very experienced and the faculty is PhD qualified and they have really good research experience from the top college of India and abroad. The faculty members really share their experiences with us whenever it is necessary to guide us.
