Remarks
Faculty was good and very cooperative. Helped us in every possible way. However a big problem we used to face was irregularities in man days as of students' Unions resorting to college bandhs. However the college management arranged for extra classes to complete the syllabus in due time.
Entrance Preview
Admission test taken by the college itself. Percentage marks not disclosed by the institution. Only name appeared on selection list. It was then followed by interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is excellent. I immediately got a job in Hindustan Lever Ltd. The faculty members were excellent. Taught with great zeal and were very cooperative.
Internships Opportunities
Did my internship in Bharat Wagons Ltd,Muzaffarpur. Got no stipend. The employees and management was very cooperative. Helped with data and other required informations.
Placement Experience
Campussing took place after 3rd semester but no government companies or PSUs came. I did not like the Private Companies that came. After passing out i applied in some MNCs and got the job in Hindustan Lever Ltd.
College Events
Every year a Freshers Welcome event was arranged. The seniors arranged for different cultural programs followed by get together parties. The event lasted for 3 days. This was the best time to interact with seniors and professors.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not avail any loan or scholarship. Being a state government sponsored institution the college fee was not very high.
Campus Life
The gender ratio was 10 male students to every 3 female students. Except freshers welcome event no other parties were held. The local students and local residents had racial discriminations against us as we were from west bengal. They never missed any opportunity to heckle us. We being from west bengal had to tolerate these harassments. Students were mostly from bihar,west bengal and the north eastern states. We tried to maintain unity among diversity.
Hostel Facilities
There was no hostel facility provided by the institution. We had to arrange for our own lodging and fooding. We were 5 students of same year living in a mess. We used to pay 500 INR per month as rent. We had to go to hotels or restaurants for food. Food was costly and not upto standard. Fooding accounted for nearly 2500 INR per month.
Alumni/Alumna
Initially the seniors were very prone to rigging. Apart from mental harassment they even resorted to physical assaults many a times. However it lasted for only a month or so. After that freshers welcome event took place and the they proved to be very helpful in every way helping in projects,practicals and providing important notes before examinations.
