My Opinion about my College

If you want to get into NIT jalandhar then you have to give an competitive exam jee mains when you give jee mains and if you score more 94 percentile as a general category then you get this college through jossa counselling you can fill jee mains application form its application fee roughly 1250 as a general category before covid 19 its application date comes in November end but after covid-19 we can't predict it dates it is very difficult to predicts its application dates nowadays. In my college home state quota is available punjab students get this college with less marks also it also has category reservation sc/st/obc/pwd/EWS if you belong to these category then it become little bit easy to get NITJ and I think jossa counselling is the best counselling authority which provide opportunities to students to get this college after giving jee mains you can do registration on jossa website to get this college jossa has around 6 rounds you can get this college if you have decents marks.

I choose B tech because I love engineering I love technology I want to be an good engineer in future in my college around faculty strength around 300 and students are around 6000 my college provide different types of courses like B tech , M Tech, phd,Msc Faculty in my college is highly educated, but I think the main problem is faculty do not explain in hindi they only explain in english generally all faculty have done Bsc , Msc ,Phd they are highly qualified but the way of teaching is not too good its my personal opinion in my college in each semester two minors happen and after that final exam after each semester exam are not too difficulty you get good marks if you study regularly you need to be consistent in your study other than academics there are also some other activities happen in NITJ which helps students in their future like Technical fest , Cultural Fest etc

The companies that provide internship in my college to students is wiingy , samsung data system india pvt Ltd , American Express , incedo etc generally they provide 6 months internships to students they also offers students to roughly 4000 per month students makes many projects and show to the companies during internship like Hummingo , RPA etc and also there are lots of projects which are made by students company shows positive reviews after seeing them they prefer to those students also which has bunches of projects

From 7 the semester students are eligible for placement here many companies visit for placement like google, microsoft, Zomato, flipkart , amazon , TCS etc they are provide enough number of offers if student is fascinated about placement then they get it by getting doing hard work the highest package provide by any company is 44 lpa for a ECE students and average packages is 8lpa majorly for on campus placement majorly company give permission majorly for CSE/IT/ECE percentage of student placement for CS/ECE is approx 93 % in CH/ME is around 80 %. Placement after doing B Tech if get an good placement then I will continue with them with B Tech I also prepare for GATE and PSUs

In my college fees depends upon income certificate if your family yearly income less than 1 lakh then then your turion fees is nil you have to give only college other charges fee which is around 22000 thousand for first sem and 17000 for rest of the semester in B tech course and if your family income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then you have to pay 1/3 fee of the total turion fee and if any one family income greater than 5 lakh per annum then they will not get any fee remission they have to pay around 84000 per semester in my college no particular scholarship but fees remission based on the income certificate and if you want to get any education loan then dean will surely help to the students to get an education loan in my college placement are good for CS/ECE in 2020 the highest package is in the ECE branch which is 44 lakh per annum placed are also good in branches like CH,ME, but package are high in cs branch mostly many companies visit their for the students placement

There are many technical and cultural fest happen in my college the biggest annual tech fest which is happen in nitj is Hackathon which is inter college hackathon there are also many technical fest happen in my college like GDSC , RPA they are mainly in the month of september and major cultural annual fest is UTKANSH it is the biggest cultural fest that is happen in my college it is generally happen in March month their is an very big library in my college where you find lots of books and journals which you can read in your free time and also classroom and lab are good they very well structured in my college their is an organisation NSO which provide good exposure to sports this organisation provide an good knowledge to students about the importance of sports in the life of every people there are also many social group like NSS there are lots of clubs available in my college like dance club , zeal society , LADC, and many more which are very good for students growth and many websites
