Remarks
IIIT Una can be a very good option for the average person like me. The college is formed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Scheme by the Government of India and is recognized as the Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Education. I was allotted a seat during my JOSAA counseling after clearing my JEE exam. The college infrastructure is good and it was a good option for me as the college is situated in my hometown and according to my JEE rank suit the college cutoff.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the college is good and the curriculum is up to date as per the latest industrial guidelines. The curriculum provides us with each and every basic concept and fundamentals that are properly cleared. The faculty of the college is also good. The faculty are cooperative and they help us to identify our weak points and the faculty guides us so that we convert those loopholes into our strong points. The faculty teaching methods are good and easy they teach us every concept with ease so that we can understand.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is part of the curriculum and we are eligible for an internship during the 6th semester of our program. The 6th semester is completed dedicated to the internship and the college placement committee helps us during the internship committee help us to identify companies for internship. We can also opt for an off-campus internship program if we want.
Placement Experience
The college has a good placement report the college has a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee plays a very important role during the placement drive as the placement drive is fully organized and conducted by the placement committee so they properly take care that every participating one of us is placed. The highest package for our batch was approx 17 LPA and the average salary package was around 10 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does not have any individual scholarship program but the college is considered as the Institute of National Importance MHRD and MOE scholarship program is available. Campus Life
The campus life of the college is good and simple. The college also has student-run clubs like Epmoc is the cultural club, Eunoia and AVEESH FORCE are the two technical coding clubs of the college. The college labs are modern and well equipped with modern tools for research work. The library is full of many international books and research journals. The classrooms are equipped with AC and classrooms are well maintained and properly ventilated.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is new and the rooms are big and spacious. The hostel rooms are available on sharing basis and every hostel room has attached balconies with it. The hostel mess food is good and is hygenic. The hostel rooms have beds, almirahs and study tables for every one of us. The hostel has 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel has all the basic facilities.
