Remarks
At first, I thought, I won't get a chance to study BCA. But thereafter I got the official website of Brainware University and there I got some numbers for admission to the college. Then they told me all those things about the course and the admission process, thereafter I have given an entrance exam to join the college with an application fee of 5000. Then I got selected also.
Course Curriculum Overview
At first, I wanted to take B.Tech Computer Science but I was not eligible for that, because i won't have Maths & CS in 10+2(I had PCB). Thereafter I opt for BCA & it's really a good course, as IT is the new normal. Our university has a huge amount of Faculty members & they are highly educated with years of experience. Although the teaching method is excellent, not lying. They teach us again and again if we don't understand a single thing, and we also get doubt clearing classes. Exams were taken online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. If you're a good student & serious in studies then you will definitely get good marks in it.
Internships Opportunities
I am a 1st-semester student, so I don't know much about internships availed in our University. But as per my knowledge, jobs(internships) student's got offered are quite satisfactory. Roles offered under internships with stipend are Cloud support engineer, Android development intern, Software developer, Python, Java, C++, Web design, Digital marketing, and much more.
Placement Experience
Our placement records are so satisfying, and you know after seeing the placement records, I joined this University, the placement cell is quite wonderful. From the 5th-semester end placement starts for the students in BCA, I don't know about the other Courses. Some companies like TCS, Adobe, Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, HCL, Capgemini, Infosys, Byjus, and many more companies have visited a lot. The highest package offered is 16 Lakhs per annum, & the Average packages offered are about 4-5 lakhs per annum for freshers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the fees are quite affordable. But if you're staying in a hostel then you should need a lot of money. They take fees in every semester; late fees submission leads to a fine of rupees 50/per day. The best thing about our college is, they give scholarships to rupees 50 thousand and more in other courses, just by seeing the 12th marks(any board) or any other competitive exam.
Campus Life
I am a 1st-year student, so our whole course/syllabus is done in Online mode, because of Covid-19. But still, I enjoyed it a lot, as we had participated in many types of fests like Hackathon, Ideathon, some Coding challenges, Industry visits, Soft skill classes, Tagline competitions, and many more. And our library is so big, there much more all the needy books are available. Thereafter our Classrooms are very clean and hygienic too. There are projector's also, which are very helpful during the Online Offline combined classes during the pandemic. We also have labs for every subject. And there are many types of Clubs available in our college. We also created some unofficial groups for students in WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and there are some official groups also which are created by the University for us.
Hostel Facilities
However, my last visit to the college hostel was quite satisfactory. Rooms are clean and hygienic as well. Yes, the rooms are not so big, small rooms for 4 bedded maximum 1-bed minimum. Although the fees are very high enough, tough to afford for a middle-class family. Those rooms have 4 chair tables, beds, and small almirahs. And the meals are good but not so much. For registration to hostel contact the university. All of the above things are collected by my colleague's knowledge as they use to stay there, and a few of them are mine. I haven't taken hostel because of some reasons and higher fees. I have taken a rented room along with my college friend nearby our University. And there are too many PGs and Rooms for rent available, so don't worry.
Other Applied Colleges
