Entrance Preview

I was about to join an engineering college but decided against it due to the workload. This course just had an aptitude test in the college itself which was easy and everyone would pass it.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The syllabus is great. But they wont cover everything. The service doesn't look professional at all. The course was mainly based on basic arts, nothing advances was taught. The structure could have been much better. The brochure will make us feel it's great. But it's not actually.

Internships Opportunities

I dont think the college provides internship. We had to search for our own and give reports. Even if they gave that would be in some companies which we dont prefer.

Placement Experience

2

Actually nobody was interested in the placements because of the poor experience from the college. The overall structure was messed up. Also the package offers are very low for the freshers in the placements here. That's why nobody cares about the placements here.

College Events

5

Events were not bad. Still not many were succesfull. Nobody would participate in it because of College's lack of infrastructure. Cultural festivals were mostly done at the wrong time. I never really managed to take part in any of them except few.

Fees and Financial Aid

I applied for the loan already before asking college. But they gave me the confirmation letter and everything went well.

Campus Life

0.5

There was no campus. Very small college. But the friends were great. Boys were more overall. People from all over India were there. I really got to enjoy that part. I got to meet more good people rather than studying much. I look forward to meeting them again.

Exam Structure

There were only projects in our course which was a stupid idea. Everyone would deliver it late because there was never a proper deadline. Not a single exam we have written over 3 years. That's a stupid idea. There should not be any course without written exams.

Performing Arts have more of practical things as from acting to direction we are taught everything. History and Theory as some theory part and the kind of career path that our course provides, I think for students interested in this, should join our course at Christ University.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
