Remarks
The admission procedure was fine. It didn't mix up lots of documents and all which weren't necessary. Here seniors helped a lot too while the admission process was going on. So not much difficulty occurred. Reservation benefits are high here. And also if you have your domicile certificate, you can easily get admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers here are all very qualified and good. While online classes were on we had some issues with attending classes but now since offline mode has started we can now easily and totally understand the maximum of what teachers try to explain. Girls: Boys ratio here is quite very low. Out of the total 87 students, only 3 are girls. Class tests are held once a month to review each student's progress.
Internships Opportunities
Since I'm in my first year I don't know much about internships here, but one of my seniors told me that many big companies like Samsung and Amazon provide internships here. He himself got an internship in Amazon while he was in his second year.
Placement Experience
For CSE and IT, students placements here are quite so high. But for students of other departments like FTBE and Printing, it's hard for them to get good placements. As of 2021 highest package of JU was 58LPA, while the average package (which includes the average of all departments ) of JU was 10.2LPA. On average, 85% of all students get placements each year and for CSE it's 100%
Fees and Financial Aid
Here the fees structure is very low. I think this is the only college in India that provides you with such a class education with the lowest fees. Scholarships are also available for below-average family students like Aikyashree, Swami Vivekanand Scholarship, etc.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of this college is not soo good as it is a very old one. New departments here have new buildings but the old ones are not that good. Campus life here is very joyful as seniors here are very supportive and friendly to all of us. The annual fest of JU is called SANSKRITI. It's conducted in the month of March and April. Along with the annual fest, many other events like sports events (known as U-TURN) and tech fests are also held here.
