NIT Manipur Review

I wanted to complete my B.Tech program from CSE program as I am interested in computer and computer programming and algorithms but my JEE score was not appropriate for the top universities but during my JOSAA counselling, I was allocated seat for NIT Manipur. NIT Manipur is AAA accredited by AICTE and NIT Manipur is ranked among the best 120 engineering colleges of India and CSE B.Tech is the flagship course of the college. So I was not worried I got the college as per my program. NIT Manipur was a very good experience for me.

The curriculum of the college is good and is up to date. The curriculum properly follows the latest industrial guideline. The curriculum is designed to provide us with complete insight on computer programming, computer algorithms, coding and many more. The curriculum is very interactive and interesting which help us to increase our knowledge about computer programing and coding. The faculty is also very good and supportive. The faculty guides us in each step of academics they help us to understand each and every concept in detail and they also share some important tips with us to understand and to remember the syllabus. The faculty are the guiding force of the institute even during the placement they were there to guides us as few of our subject faculty have very good industrial experience.

We are eligible for an internship after completing the three years of our program. If we wanted to opt for the internship during the 2nd or 3rd we can but from outside the campus. The on-campus internship is available for us during the third year of our pragram. Our details are registered with the placement committee of the college and they help us to find a good company for our internship program. The stipend depends according the company but the average stipend was around 45k.

The college has good placement packages. The placement packages of the college are as per the top NITs institute of India. The college has a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee plays a very important role during the placement program. As placement committee is fully responsible for the conduction of the placement program. They also help us to identify companies according to our needs and guide us during each round of placement so that we can be placed with a good number. The highest package for our batch was around 40 LPA and the average package was around 11 LPA.

The college provides scholarships on a merit basis. International scholarship schemes are also available like Japanese Government scholarship and Chinese Government Scholarship schemes are also available. The college also has 50% reservations for Manipur and the rest 50% all over India. The college also provides financial aid and support to SC/ST/ General category according to their household income. The campus life of the college is good and the vibes are quite friendly. The college canteen is very good and very clean. The canteen menu is varied vast and all types of food varieties are available. The college infrastructure is very well maintained. On regular basis, various kinds of workshops are conducted by the college for various departments. Ogri is the college annual fest. The college library has many international and national bestseller books.

The hostel is good and the hostel rooms are neat and properly ventilated. The rooms are available on a triple sharing basis. The hostel provided good food that is cooked in a very hygienic environment. The hostel has 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel also has a Gym facility. The hostel wardens and staff are cooperative and work hard to maintain the hostel. The hostel also provides 24 hours of WiFi. The hostel has all kinds of facilities as per our concern.
