The admission for the Undergraduate courses is on the basis of merit i.e. your class 12 percentage in CBSE boards. I took admission in B.Sc Mathematics in 2019 and got in after having scored 92.75% in Best of 4. You will have to study throughout the year rigorously because the experience is absolutely worth it. Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course B.Sc Mathematics because I want to end up in research. The college offers a great curriculum for that. The professors have got their PhDs from renowned universities. Every section has a strength varying from 25-60. Exams happen every May and December, you should prepare rigorously for them. Don't be fooled by cool seniors who'll tell you to give up on academics and just live the DU life.
Placement Experience
The placements in the college happen through the Placement Cell. The average package is 4.75 LPA. A lot of students prefer to go for higher studies because the degrees offered in the college are general and not professional (like B.Tech MBA etc.) so it isn't fair to expect 40 LPAs here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is one of the most incredible pros of this college. It ranges from 10k-14k every year. Placements happen through the placement cell of the college which is very active, a lot of students also prefer to go for higher education.
Campus Life
The social life you'll experience at this college or any college under Delhi University is one that you can't forget. Fests happen throughout the year, central and department fests both. Just carry your ID card and you're good to go for free anywhere. The library is enormous, i have never struggled to find any book that i wanted to in the past 3 years, with all integrity and faith I can say you will be mesmerized.
