IIT BHU Review

I do not wanted to miss an opportunity to be part of IIT BHU after all my hard work in my academics and for JEE I was able to meet the cutoff eligibility criteria of the college. The college has a lot to offer and describing IIT BHU in just a few words can not be possible as the college has a world-class educational facility and IIT BHU is the second-largest IIT in India. I do not want to miss such a wonderful opportunity and in JOSAA counselling I was able to grab the college seat and I immediately froze the seat and moved forward with the admission process.

The college curriculum is wonderful. The curriculum is not only lengthy but it helps us to understand each and every detail of the engineering program very deeply and properly. The B.Tech program is the flagship course of the college. The curriculum helps us to develop our analytical and decision making skill which plays a very important role in every engineer's work process. The faculty is also very professional and experts in their respective subjects. The faculty are not only of PhD level but they have some great research work experience from one of the best universities of India and abroad. The faculty are so cooperative that they also guide us during the placements rounds.

The internship program of the college is very great all our details are available with the placement and training cell of the college. The cell plays a very important role in helping us to find good companies for internships. 45+ companies visit our campus during the college summer training program. The average stipend for the internship is approx 95k.

The college is best known for its placement standards. The college is popularly known for its Training and placement cells. The cell plays a very important role in our placement. The college placement cell conducts mock interview rounds, pre-placement talks, written tests and GD rounds and presentation talks. The placement cells fully prepare us for every placement round so that we can easily get through the placement and receive good packages. The training and guidance by the placement cell help us to grab good package offers. The highest package offer for our batch was around 58 LPA and the average salary package was around 18 LPA.

The complete course fee is around 5.50 lakh but the college provides a really very good placement offer and the average salary package is itself ranges from 15 to 20 LPA which is a very good return on investment. If we compare the college fees of the B.Tech program the fee is quite affordable from other top IITs in India. The college also provides scholarships on a merit basis and financial assistance is also available.

The college is spread over 13000 acres of land which is very big. The college vibes are friendly. The college provides a very good opportunity for research work and also provides a very good environment for studies. As I am from B.Tech most of the time is spent on assignments and various project activities. Technex is the technical fest of the college where we get an opportunity to show our innovative side. The college library is the house of many national and international bestsellers books from around the world.

The hostel infrastructure is very well maintained. In comparison to the facilities that the college provides at the price of 8000 the time spent in the hostel is worth it. The college has the facility of 24 hours of water and power supply and we are even provided with high-speed WiFi connectivity for good internet. The hostel security is also very good. The wardens and staff properly maintain the hostel decorum. In short at this price point, the hostel provides us with all kinds of facilities and amenities.
