Remarks

Management: you know better about it. It's a private college and the management is just how it meant to be It's like a magic box. At times it is like our friend, other time it's our top enemy. It happens Adapting is the best way to live happily.

Entrance Preview

OJEE Nothing special that I aimed for Don't know exactly, but something pushed me to choose medical above all I scored 413 rank. But our state don't have that much of government seat and there is a great quota system. By virtue of which I landed up in a private medical college, which I never choosed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS : 4 and half years of study and 1 year internship First year, second year and third year: Non clinical years 4th and final year : clinical years. We have 4 university exams and 2 semisters each year. You have to score atleast 50% to pass in exam. After passing the final exam you will be eligible to do internship.

Placement Experience

3

Doctors have their jobs when they enrolled in the course. We have plenty of options to choose from. Some go to Peripheral posting, some to private practice and some to coaching for PG.

College Events

3

Medifest, ganesh puja, saraswati puja, teacher's day, annual function, football league, cricket league, volleyball tournament, youth day, various conferences, seminars, street plays.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Too much expensive. 5. 5lakhs per annum inclusive of hostel and course fees. After these there is books, food, cultural, sports and many more. Government helps to sc/st students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such scholarships or loan facilities are offered from the college in the best of my knowledge. Orissa government has a scheme of scholarship but that is also limited to sc/st quota.

Campus Life

3

Very average, it's not like a big campus with all facilities. It's just a simple college with two small restaurant! Even it lacks wifi, in an era of internet. Inspite of alot of flaws, I enjoy being with my awsome friends and seniors.

Hostel Facilities

2

Below average standards of hostel living with 3 persons sharing a room & unhygenic common toilet facilities. According to the living conditions the rentals are too much expensive.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors here in my college are the reason why we enjoy the college. Very cooperative and friendly. As all say nothing is perfect, some seniors are not like the above mentioned.

Exam Structure

Every year there are 2 semesters along with a final university exam at the end of the educational year. apart from this there are various class tests n surprise tests are also there. every day we have to attend to the clinical classes in the hospital along with practicals from morning to evening making it just hectic enough to handle.

Faculty

4

Faculties : in a single word "Experienced" But some of the departments don't have that quality yet. Most of them are the finest doctors of orissa yet they are very friendly. What I liked the most about the college is the faculties Despite being a private college, it beholds the power in form of superior faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well organized by the authorities based on the latest medical aspect of our society. Practical classes and regular postings in hospital helps in better understanding. Being the only hospital in nearby cities, our hospital provides us a good exposure to varity of cases. Our Associate proff and HODs also look upto them and help us gain more real world experience. The best aspect of this field or if I have to say Why have I chose it is to serve the society. Absence of well qualified doc at the times of emergency is one of the leading causes of mortality in developing countried like India. Being in this profession, I just want to help people around me.

Candidate who wishes to take admission in this course must appear for NEET entrance examination and must have a valid NEET score. A candidate must at least have 50% in 10+2 in physics, chemistry and biology. After having good NEET score I applied for counseling and in that I got this college.
