Deshbandhu college is in kalkaji, Nehru palace. It is designated under Delhi University and placed on the south campus.it provides a variety of courses and flexible classes for students to get educated. It also has NCC which also provides great benefits to students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chosed BSC due to my kneen intrest in physics and my interest to do MSC. Our class has a total strength of 60 students and in our course a total of 150 students are. And we have 23 faculty members. Most of our faculty members have done PHD in their field. And their teaching methods are very good. We have exams every samester and every semester is 6 months long, due to ongoing COVID our college was teaching in online mode, but recently fall of covid cases provided an opportunity to visit students for physical classes which have been a great benifits to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our course requires 15000 per year fees and 1100 as a per samester examination fees. Which is quite good as compared to other colleges assosiated with DU. I have applied for National Scholarship (NSP) in my first year, but application got rejected, on the second year itself I have applied which is under process.
Campus Life
As we were attending classes on the online mode we didn't get to attend any freshers or any fest, but interested students did plan their freshers and had a blast. Our library is also top notch which provides the best quality of books, and the best environment to sit there and study. We have a full AC classroom with projectors which makes learning even more interesting. We have many sports clubs, such as cricket football, hockey. We have a fashion society that is run by an autonomous student body, and the president of the college is also decided by this society.
