You have to qualify for JEE mains. With a minimum percentile of 89.Along with 75% marks in class 12th or equivalent examination. You can visit JEE mains website for registration for JEE mains 2022. For CSE branch cutoff is 98.5 percentile, For ECE I need to score a minimum of 96 percentile, For EEE branch one needs to score 95 percentile or above. The minimum percentile required to get admission in this college is 85 percentile for lower branches like Chemical, Civil, Production, etc. And these percentile mentioned above is for home state quota only.

I am a student of this college pursuing Chemical engineering. If I talk about the faculty here they are quite good and helpful but the only thing is u should be polite to them. As usual, some faculty are very strict like other colleges. For 12 students there is at least one faculty. All the professors are Ph.D. holders from IIT and NIT. Now talking about the exams here we have one Mid-sem and then the End-Sem. Exams are easy if and if u focus during the class.

Many MNCs allow students to take their internship tests. From the 6th semester that is from the 3rd year, you can get internship offers as well as you are free to go off campus also. You can get an internship easily if you have a CGPA of 8 or above.

Companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Byju's, Delloite, HP, Dell, Intel, etc. Visit our campus for recruitment. If I talk about the average package that sits at 11.76 LPA per year. The highest Package is 49.8 LPA. The placement of CSE, IT, EEE, Chemical engineering is quite nice.

In BIT Mesra's fee is a little bit on the higher side. Per year u will be paying 3 lakhs and keep on increasing every year at a rate of 7 to 10%. Approximately in 4 years, you will pay 15 lakhs including hostel and mess. Though we have a scholarship named GP Birla scholarship through which u can get a scholarship based on your CGPA. For getting a scholarship one needs to maintain a 9+ CGPA. In every semester u can apply for a Scholarship.

The main fest at our college is BITOSTAV a technical as well as a cultural fest. If I talk about the Library more 10 lakhs books are present here and all r in good quality. We give focus on social work as well as sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Chess, etc. Every hostel has a small area for indoor games as well. We have a very large Cricket and Football ground. You can join various clubs like ACM, IETE, Rotaract, LEO, EDC. You will know about more clubs when u visit the college.

Here various types of rooms are available like Single, Double sharing, Triple sharing. In the first, you will get a Triple sharing room. Mess food is good, not excellent. Separate hostel for boys and girls.
