Bsc-IT(Mobile Application and Information Security) review.....I recommend this course only if u are intrested in "MOBILE" app developmet.

it is a perfect course for anyone who wants a career in mobile app development. As for admission one simply needs to visit the admission offlice of adtu in the main campus in Assam Downtown University, or one of its admission offices across Guwahati,Assam. Eligibility of this course - 45%+ in both 10th and 12th from any stream(Science preferred) personally i haven't heard of any kind of reservation deatils in this course. For me as a final year student is can see many benifits of the course like it teaches a lot of coding and problem solving activities. It also gives a lot of oppurtunities in our career as a app developer.

I choose it because i had intrests in mobile phones. and after hearing about this course i wanted to study this. There are many talented faculty in this dept who help and guide you through the duration of 3 years course. There are 2 sessional exams and 1 final exam per semester. Exams are moderately hard towards the final years as there more coding and more lengthy theory papers needed to understand and be an actual app developer. but compared to courses like btech its somewhat easy

i didn't do any internship yet.. Final project starts in 6th sem, i am in 5th sem and curruently doing practicals instead of projects... For projects u will have to make a group of 3 students with your classmates and choose a faculty member as a mentor, under whoose guideance the 3 students will work tigether to create a mobile app.

the placements oppurtuinities comes during your last year. For Bsc-IT and other computer releted courses placemements are provided by the placememnt cell of ADTU and a educational comapny called iNurture( this computer science releted courses are all organised by iNurture ). average LPA is about 2,50,000. but hearing from my seniors i recommend going for higher studies then applying for this oppurtunities. As for me i want to go for higher studies - M.sc IT

Admission fees- 20,000 per sem - 40,000 if u want to stay in hostel u need to pay about 70,000 per year and for PG's nearby admission for one year will be about 35k for single room and 5,500 monthly for mess and lodging.

there and many activities throughout the campus life. There is always something happening every month. "ATTITUDE" the fest of ADTU happens every year in late february or early march. As for food the are a loooot of varieties to select from in the 5 canteens across the campus. There are also clubs like art club, dance club, music club, etc

as mention earlier hostel costs about 70,000 per year. there are currently 2 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel in the campus. For admision u can do it through the admission office, as for the room and roommates., its all allocated by the hostel warden. Each room will have 3 roommates and have only a few roommates. food is given thrice a day, and a party only for hostelers is held every 2 months.
