Remarks

The admission process is so smooth. The admission cell is just behind the gate. A lot of facility members are there to guide you. You just have told them about the course. They will guide you on the right path. You can also book your seat just by giving an advance amount. Other fees can be paid later.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The final exams are semester-wise. The 1st and 3rd semesters were in Dec, whereas the 2nd and 4th semester is in April. However, there are also two midterm exams are there in which the average marks of both the exams are considered. Like we can say M.Sc chemistry is but difficult we can say organic part. But the facility is very good so it's not difficult to get passed.

Internships Opportunities

5

We visited a fertilizer company to know the process and how it works. Whereas there's a 7-day internship program at Shalini university where we visited and learned about HPLC and GC. We have also worked on Nanoparticles which is Thises part of my MSc syllabus.

Placement Experience

5

After the 3rd semester can become eligible for the campus placement. The company visited is DSM Ropar in which I got placed. 50 60 % got placed after getting the degree. I plan to continue my Ph.D. at the same university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarships are only provided to the Sc students by the Govt of Punjab however another financial assistance is also provided by the university. I got selected in a campus interview by DSM Ropar which offered me a 3.5 L package.

Campus Life

5

There are many social groups run by the students. There are also elections which are held every year by the students. And clubs are also there on can became part of. There are many websites run by the university you can become part of.

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University | M. Sc chemistry

I didn't opted this because I prefer rayat and bahara over this

Education quality is top class. Studies are given full priority. Students need to be present for every class otherwise they'll be left behind . College feels like school sometimes considering the amount of pressure the syllabus puts on a student.

Placement Experience:

Last year of course we are eligible for placement. Many Pharmaceutical companies like Akums Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Indswift Ltd, jubilant, SRF Ltd., etc. As well as many Institutions like Akash, Buyjus, etc. also visit our university to provide jobs to the students. The average annual price of the package is 3-7 lakhs which will vary from department to department. An average percentage of around 60% would be eligible to appear in the interview but the further process depends on the placement committee. I will do P.hD. after completion of my course.
