Yes there is entrance exam for management admissions. Though it is management seat students need to have cutoff above 170 for EEE in obc category in the year 2020. In 2021 the cutoff has raised around 191 for govt quota and 181 for management quota. The application forms for admission will be available in the college site www.psgitech.ac.in. Admission process will be smooth enough and you have to cover 11 and 12 syllabus for entrance exam. It will be easy though. All the best.

+This college is a new college of PSG group of Institutions, just 8 yrs old now. So it is affiliated to Anna University( a clg needs to be minimum 10yrs old to get autonomous status). I chose EEE because here the EEE students had better placement records on an avg. Though EEE didn't get the highest package of 38LPA (Microsoft) and 40LPA(Arcesium), on an avg the course was good for higher studies and govt jobs. The placements were also decent of EEE with highest package record of 18LPA( lowe's India). + 30:1 is the student faculty ratio here. + the faculties are from psg tech college. The management has studious in building the reputation of this new college. The faculties are well trained and experienced. And few are from pvt industries (retired). Each room has a projector and nothing to be worried faculties use only board for teaching and projectors to show videos. + In each month, there will be a internal assessment. It will be quite easy if he/she follows the class properly.

Here the internships will be available only after 5th sem will no arrear records else college management won't allow to sit for placements. So students should balance academics and personal interests properly. Internships are given with avg 25k for 6mnths and full time job is offered then based of candidates performance. Each student must have atleast 3-4 projects in their resume to take the first priority. Students are encouraged to do projects right from 1st year. Nothing to be worried on projects area. Faculties will assist you.

The placements are better compared to other colleges like ( kct, skcet, even CIT) where core companies' visit is less in there. Companies like arcesium, caterpillar, qualcomm,AMD, oracke, volvo, shoba electricals, (27) ai etc are the high paying regular companies. Tcs wipro cts infosys are bulk recruiters. If you have skill and potential, you could even clear Amazon and microsoft interviews too. Almost 90% percentage students get placed here and 4-7% will opt for higher studies. Rest students will have arrears records incomplete so they can't sit for placements. For me, I have a plan of doing masters in electrical and computer science.

The fee structure is worth for this college as they provide better placements within a short period of their initiation. Really appreciable. For management seats they don't ask for donations like any other institutions as it is completely taken based on entrance exams. Scholarships will be provided as per govt norms as financial bg of student must be less than 6lakhs for bc. There are seperate scholarships of SC/ST students.

The college life will be awesome. Don't expect full freedom but there are no restrictions like no-girls boys talk, no gadgets inside classroom. You can even use laptops inside classroom. You get the freedom here but you have to use it in a right way. Annual fests like YUKTAHA ADVAYA and SUDEVA will be conducted. Those days will be completely funpacked. The library is highly advanced with scanning technology for taking books. Everything is digitally monitored here. Classrooms are spacious enough and the environment is just awesome and beautiful. Sports activities like dept matches and college tournaments will be conducted weekly once. The ground will always be occupied for these matches. You must join the team to experience these and spectators are also welcomed. There are almost 15+ clubs which are active though. Even I got surprised when I join here. Interesting!!

Hostel is a new building. You would have lift facilities in the hostel. Washing machines are available. And hot water for both drinking and bathing will be available. Food is not bad tbh I dunno whether foods like here are even available in other colleges. Snacks will be available daily(bread n jam, biscuits, tea, milk etc). I would rate 7/10 for food. Here there will be nonveg provided on two days of a week(only chicken). Hostel Registration process is very easy. You could either make it online or by visiting the hostel. Payments are made either through DD or online transaction. No other mode of payment is followed here. I haven't thought about renting a room outside. Hostel is life n bliss ?????
