Remarks

First of all the eligibility criteria is having X and XII pass with maths compulsory. I had given the WBJEE entrance exam as well as the IEMJEE entrance exam which was conducted by the IEM-UEM Group. You can find the application on their website and that is free of cost.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty of this college is best. Because they are very helpful and supportive. If u didn't understand anything they repeat. And the good thing about faculty is that u can contact me personally if u having some problems or issues. Before taking admission I am also very tense about faculty but now I say faculty is best.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Actually I have no more knowledge about internship as I am a first year I didn't know much about that .but I heard from our seniors . companies were visited for internship. As I am in 2nd semester we have schedule the internship dates 25th June to 25th July. So hoping we get internship .

Placement Experience

This is the main part every students wants to know this genuinely. Every year college gives good placement. Cse Branch placement is becoming best day by day . Placement cell work too hard for students to achieve their dream MNCs .

Fees and Financial Aid

Now, the Fees structure is a bit high but okay. This college is value for money. At the time of admission, you have to pay 91200,i.e 70000 per semester and security money 21200. After that every semester you have to pay around 70000. No hidden charges. The total cost for BTech in my time is around 580000. The scholarship is provided on basis of your X, XII and entrance exam scores.

Campus Life

Campus Life is good. Every year a fresher party is organised by our college. Tech fest also happens every year. Our famous fest is URECKON. The library is filled with so many books for every filled and that is the good part. Every type of sports activity is organised by the IEM UEM group.

Other Applied Colleges

Techno India , Salt Lake , Kolkata | BTech CSE

Main reason I didn't opt this college is placement. Placement scenario is becoming bad day by day.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
