Remarks

College management sometimes pay too much attention to only studies rather extra-curricular activities. But they are helpful at the end, However if you encounter the Admins you will find that all they talk about is scoring in exams and studies and not care so much about student bodies or extra curriculars. However the director, Father Francis is the best and most supportive for all the things and helps students a lot

Entrance Preview

I did Diploma so I wasn't required to give any entrance exam. Secured 76.39% in diploma. I took computers because i liked this course and being in the same stream in diploma too i chosed Computer Engineering here also

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum isn't really that good. With some subjects like ECCF and so i feel it gives you exposure to many unwanted subjects. The other subjects are well focused on computers tough and are good. specially in the last year almost all subjects are computer focused. The electives are good enough for computer stream. Bigdata, machine learning, etc. However in third my class chose German for elective, which wsant at all useful. But it was fun to learn something new amidst the all computer subjects

Internships Opportunities

We didnt had any internships till now. tough the new TPO is really good and is bringing in some good companies for our juniors. tough i dont know about the stipends.

Placement Experience

5

Placement and job opportunities are really good. i got into Igate while many of my friends got into infosys, l&t and many more other companies. The placement is almost 100% leaving the people who are going for further studies ofcourse.the companies come to our campus for most of the times. sometimes there are pool campus also.Igate offered 3.15L pakageInfosys offered 3.25L pakageMany other startups also came for placements offering from 4L to 6L p.a.pakages.

College Events

4.5

Exams are conducted in a perfect manner so as to not exhaust students. Midterms are conducted in betwenn the final sems. 2 midterms are there as it is in most of the other colleges. However the tests are conducted at proper intervals giving us ample time to study before the finals and vivas as well as after the first midterm or start of college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. we had to pay ~84000 fees. but its kinda worth it. college doesnt have ac classrooms.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are mnay scholarships and loans available. There is one staff member in our colg office for that work and he is really helpful in these matters. I havent availed nay scholarship tough.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is pretty decent. There are some student parties/bodies like CSI, IEEE, Robotics club.I was the chairperson of CSI and we did a good job. IEEE too conducts many electronics related workshops and seminar. There isnt uch politics but you should know how to tackle some if you fce any. There are many competitions like debates in our fests and also all round the year conducted by various student bodies.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There isnt any hostel facility in our colg. howvever being a jesuit group our colg has some residency in andheri somewhere for accomodation. but it isnt like hostel. We have canteen, and its really hygienic and clean also it is really good in vareity of food available. veg as well as nonveg.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network isnt really that good. aluminis arent really helpful after graduating. seniors however, when they were in colg, were really helpful. same with us. we have good rapport with our juniors too.

Exam Structure

Technical fest - Transmission. it is our tech fest and is celebrated over a span of 2 days normally. this time we had loads of events which were divided into some major categories such as Software, Robotics, EA electronics, Debates, Gaming and FunSpandan is ur culutural fest and witness a decent footfall of around 3k to 3.5k people. It is a 3 days events including many things from Fashion show, Dance, Skits, Debates, Drama and many more.Sparx is our sports event. it is a 2 day event which witness sports enthusiats form all over mumbai as well as many out of town. You can visit xiefest.com for more info.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is well trained. we got some new teachers for some subjects who werent really good, but after complains they were removed. so its safe to say that college adminstration focus on the faculty and student relations. Some teachers are extremely great. One such is Asst. Prof. Saurabh Patil in computer department. he is an all rounder and helps students a lot for their overall growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
