About my college

In sum, the college is a place where people look for discipline, good conduct, and prosperity in terms of educational qualification. It continues to give life to many students, and continues to equip the future generation.

There was no entrance exam needed for this course. Just out of interest I joined this college. My friends advised me to join this course and helped me to choose this college.

The course curriculum was good except the Tamil subjects included in the curriculum. An English graduate does not need so many subjects in Tamil. This will affect his English learning. The curriculum should be improved to include much communication oriented and must be able to uplift students' learning ability.

The college does provide internship at the end of the course, to assess the students' course competence in their areas of interest. For example, B.A. English literature course provided a project work in areas like teaching, hotel management, journalism, etc.

Placement and job opportunities are very commendable. At the end of the year, companies start hunting for candidates and when they do so, they look for this institution first, for the students in this institution are disciplined first of all, and then they have the up to date knowledge that is required to shine in the field they are recruited for.

Celebrations are an indispensable part of Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science. Every year the annual day celebrations, and especially the Guru Puja celebrations take place. They go about a week or so. Students enjoy the visiting of new faces on those occasions.

The fees structure is feasible for most of the students. Those who have the ability but not the socioeconomic status will appreciate the fees structure of Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science. Normally an under graduate program would not exceed more than 15 k when compared to other colleges.

Scholarship facilities are provided for the students who are specifically eligible for such funds, which will enable them to balance their socioeconomic conditions academically.

The campus life in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science is very peaceful. There is no gender or racial diversity in this campus. Extracurricular activities are part and parcel of any course in this institution. Lab facilities are equipped well, especially this college is known for its first English language lab.

Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science is known for its accommodation and food qualities. Even the alumni will not forget the taste of the hostel food, and the food provided during occasions such as annual day celebrations, and Guru Puja days.

The exams are the interesting part in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science. Students have plenty of time to study before the exams. Students also find the exams quite easier because of many revision tests that they have. Their ability to take up the exams is assessed prior to the exams.

The faculty in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science are well-versed in their respective areas of expertise. The professors show a great interest in equipping students when they are academically interested, and they are well-disciplined in a renowned college like this.
