Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I'm very fond of physics and I see a good opportunity in this field for me. The student ratio in this course is quite low around 30 students every year. But I think being less in number we get more attraction from professors (that's a good thing). The professors of the Physics department are very knowledgeable people also they are very friendly and helpful in nature. Their teaching method is also very cool. It was not difficult to pass the exam. One can pursue higher education like having a PhD degree or MTech in other specialization after this course. Also, The best part of getting into IIT is one can go to non-core or in IT sector easily from any branch. At the time of placement, many companies are open for this course students for SDE, Data Scientist, Data analytics, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for this course is very much the same as other courses but may vary from college to college. The fee is about 1L Rs per semester(excluding the hosel fee). But if a candidate belongs to SC/ST caste there's a relaxation of tuition fee for them so they have to pay around 5000 Rs per semester (excluding hostel fee). However one can avail the benefit of scholarship easily. There are many NGOs and Govt. societies that can provide scholarships. Apart from this one can also apply for a student loan for college fees. By the end of 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Last year the average package was about 20LPA. A fairly high percentage of students get placement from this branch.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing. There are so many fests such as Technex, KashiYatra, Spardha, Inte IIT, FMC Weekend. There's also a variety of clubs one can prefer any club in which he/she interested. The libraries and classrooms are good with all the necessary facilities.
