Remarks
VSSUT is a very good option for the average person like me I wanted to pursue the CSE program as I was quite interested in coding and computer programing but according to my JEE and academics I was not getting the CSE course, at last, I was suggested VSSUT and after filing the admission form from the college website I found that I was meeting the eligibility criteria and I applied for the admission and was granted the seat in the college for CSE program.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has a very good curriculum. The curriculum of the college is very good and it properly sync with the real world scenario and the coding methods taught are very useful for us. The curriculum is as per the latest rule and norms of the industry. The faculty of the college is also very good. The college does not compromise with the quality of the faculty and they are not only of PhD level but their teaching methods are also very good and the faculty are also very cooperative and helpful. The coding faculty is extremely experienced and their teaching technique is very good they teach us in a very simple way so that we can understand the coding technique easily.
Internships Opportunities
The internship program of the college is optional if we are not attending any kind of internship we have to submit written assignments. To take part in the college internship program we have to complete three years of our program and companies such as Nalco, MCL, RSPL, CTTC, reputed companies visit our campus for the internship program. The average stipend for an internship went up to 45k.
Placement Experience
The college has decent placement packages and the college management has to work very hard to compete with the many private colleges for placement. The highest salary offer during the placement drive reached up to 14 LPA and the average salary package is around 8 LPA. But in comparison to the college fee, the placement offers are quite okay and the ROI is good. TCS, Infosys, Dell, PRADAN, Wipro, HP, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, etc visit the company for the college placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarships through various scholarship schemes such as National Scholarship, State Loan Stipend, Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST, Disabled Scholarship, National Talent Search Scholarship, Merit Scholarship to the wards of mines employees, National Merit Scholarship, Merit Scholarship to the dependents of ex-servicemen and or widows, Merit-based Scholarship to the minority, etch there are many more scholarship schemes through which scholarship is granted.
Campus Life
The college campus life is simple like normal college life. The labs are modern and there is a lab for every department. The college infrastructure and campus is well maintained and kept clean. The college library has many good books related to our domains and many international journals are also available. The college campus also has WiFi connectivity. The college staff and the seniors are cooperative and the college has a no-ragging policy and follows it very strictly.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are available on sharing, triple, double and single basis. The hostel mess food quality is good and hygienic. The hostel wardens are professional and the staff is properly trained. The hostel has a very good security structure. The hostel also has a common room where LCD TV is equipped and many indoor game facility is also available. The hostel has all types of facilities for us.
